Jerk, there is I'm guessing 3 to 4 feet of snow in my yard right now, and the river hasn't even thought of breaking... On top of all that they shut-down the power plant the heated the water for one of our few lakes that stayed open all year....

Our weather is very spastic right now. Warm for a few days and more snow on the way DAMMIT!!! River levels are extremely high too. The golf course I used to work at years back is prepped for flooding. Again.. I was there for 5 yrs and it flooded 3 times. I'll be glassing the bondline on the inside of the nose tonight. And whatever else I have the motivation for.

Hey! On another subject. I need to do a tow loop in the front. I'd like to get something stainless that basically looks like a drawer handle. I have some thick al plate that I will glass in and back it with inside. Probably tap the backing plate and locknut it too. But I have yet to find something like that. Any other ideas guys?

Got a little off track yesterday and started trying to figure out my chin pad. Now that my pole is without bend, the old chinpad looks ghay as he77. It's a umi shortened and straitened out. Pics are some posts back of it. So I used some cardboard over it, duct taped it and glassed over it with 1708 biax. Trying to figure out the shaping is good entertainment for sure. I want it go be strait and tidy, but will have clamp coverage and strength issues. I think over time somebody will be making a short strait pole. The bars ended up in almost the same position as before straightening. And it got rid of the hump caused by the pole bend ending up on the hood. So the hood pole line is better and the bars are in a good spot. Still may go risers, but won't know til after the first ride.

End of ramble. Cell phone post, so it's kinda random.

Got some more work done over the last couple days. Finished the chinpad, other than turfing it. (I think the chinpad will work out OK, but may do another one later with some coverage over the clamps) Cooling lines are back in. Did some jigsaw puzzle work with the polystyrene (I got the Pink Panther stuff) in the tray. Got the ex tube in the tray and finished off. Got the waterbox prepped for the welder to relocate the outlet. I think that's about it...

Thanks guys. US Composites order is supposed to show up today. Glass and foam. I'm going to foam in the nose and glass over it. Funny thing is I like the way it looks without the lip, but don't like the gap under the top deck. Looks kinda funky, so I'll fill it. Although it will keep the spray to a minimum. Yah... Still filling it lol.

yeah the overbite of the top deck to the bottom deck is what i got rid of. I am sure i will get sprayed more without the lip but i will just ride with my eyes closed. haha.
