I started will all OEM hardware and then switched to longer bolts to try to grab some fresh aluminum. I think the reason it all came apart easy was the aluminum had basically turned to powder lol.
As I stated in the beginning of this threads, we worked a deal out and in my book we are good. In fact, I never even mentioned your name in this build thread.

So I got my exhaust hose figured out. Mocked everything up tonight and hooked up the battery. Total loss is working (for now haha) and did a quick compression check on the engine and spot on 190 PSI both holes. That was a relief. Just need to wait for the extended throttle cable, plumb the fuel lines and finish the water routing and hopefully she'll be ready for some testing.

I'm not sweating you, but I feel horrible about what's happened and STeve has me pissed in the way he keeps tossing me under the bus on this. I've known that dude a while and this just pisses me off. it's him I'm angry at, he should have made this right. this is a manufacturing issue, anyone could easily see that.

Got it all together and fired last night at the shop. Hopefully water test this weekend.
Still have some little stuff to finish, limit rope, hood ratchet strap, pole pad etc.

Does anyone know of a throttle cable longer than a SN Superjet? I need like another at minimum 3". My SN cable reaches, but it is tight and the thottle opens slightly when the pole is up and bars turned. I shortened my pole an inch last night so it helped, but I'd really like to have some more wiggle room to adjust things around.

I would get rid of that 5200 on your fuel pickup, it will not hold up to gasoline and will end up in your filters/carbs.

It's 1211
I had an issue with some of it ending up in the tank but it hasn't been an issue lately. It's been on there for 3 years now

Thanks.
This engine bilge is disgusting IMO. I usually take pride in making everything and clean as possible. This thing is a mess, I'm almost embarrassed for people to see the some of the wiring and plumbing. At some point I'll go through it but I was running out of any ambition to work on this. I need some water time to rejuvenate my attitude :)

Officially registered as a 2010 Home built "BOB" lol. Legit.
Fingers crossed for H20 test tomorrow at my parents lake.

I went through the homebuilt process when I had my Bob. Did feel like redoing it.

PCold haha. Water is about 50 degrees and it wasn't real warm out. Ski ran better than I was expecting. Tuning is close, might be fighting a pop off pressure issue and possibly pump setup. Spoke with Zach at Php this morning and have a few things to try. One f/a cover is slightly rubbing the hood liner so I'll have to address that as well. Need to get a longer throttle cable so I can run the pole.longer. I think about 1.5" longer is where I'll want it. This was my first ride in 18 months so I was definitely squid'n it up. Hull feels ok so far. Really seems to plow water when letting of the gas. Lots of face spray. Longer pole should help that a well
