sounds like a cool move in the right direction,Will the entire outside be billet as well,the Thailand pumps have a pretty rough aftermarket casting.Dont think the Chinese would knock this billet type off,if you need cut stainless welded you can get it done dirt cheap there,but not much cnc work comes outa china dirt cheap like the welded materials,I am surprised they havnt knocked off the skat pumps,if they ever figure there really is a market for it,they would be less than $500 for sure

You will also just be able to use existing skat pumps shaft, impeller , bearings ,and just by our housing and you can save some cash that way too if you decided to run our pump .
We will also have different setback options and will be making pps to work with 2008 and up shaft with just some machine work also helping costs down .

So it will include a "wear ring" or "prop housing" section too?

I'm not that familiar with the X-scream billet housings either but will yours have a stainless wear ring/insert? If so, how hard is it to change them out?

It will have a stainless liner as option , or anodized standard . We are also testing another material for the liner . To remove and replace liner will be less than the cost of buying a new oem wear ring , not really a big deal . Just don't go riding your ski down the beach .

one piece billet is nice,deff good to have a opt for stainless liner,whats the new material your lookin at using? Since Chris is having success with making custom long driveshafts from old couchs for cheap,a 2 or 3 inch setback pump would be smart,might be a little tough to do replaceable wear rings that far back in the pump housing though

yea will have several variations for pumps as time goes on , more set
back and other new things we are working one ,only have so much time though so stay tuned
these will just be the first ones to copare to existing products
We will probalbe also offer a 2 piece pump as well more for our international market where the machine work may not be as available .

Did you get to see it at all? Did you pry anymore info out of Brian? I'm curious about the weight difference between the mag pump and the shredder pump. I'm pretty excited to see it. I was hoping for some Daytona ride reports but oh well.

We are starting production already I will post some pics of the prototype pump although the productions will be different a bit but mostly cosmetic and assembly but not function .

If the cosmetic differences are drastic, I'd recommend waiting until you get the first batch in just in case people are turned off by prototype appearances...
