ross.. you make a good point,the challenge will be building a boat with after market parts and keeping costs under control,these days custom builds are outa the reach of most guys especially newbs lookin to get in,we would need this to continue to get bigger rather than smaller. The biggest thing that killed all skis including couches in general was technology,granted they are far better,but not everyone can afford a 15k ski,back in the day you could get most skis for a few thousand,thats why everyone and their brother had one. we just live in a different time,the manufactures have themselves to thank for that,nice cars are getting less expensive and selling better again,skis wont see that day again until something sim happens
the project i am working on with some guys with some forward thought that i was telling you about,is taking that thinking and making affordable power that alot more can obtain pushing towards the future you speak of.......
Meanwhile I am seriously looking at buying a couple of 55 gallon drums of two stroke oil, it doesn't go bad and would be nice to have just in case.

Well said.who would have thought how much influence on the stand up scene that this site has created, 1200 motors , hulls galore , new riders , custom made parts,members starting business selling jet ski parts, for example just today cold fusion with their new motor mounts, jetmaniac selling complete motors and everything under the sun for skis hes our wal mart, new riders coming in, new fresh ideas, pro riders like ross, zack ,taylor curtis and others posting more in the last two years,the xh20 has done a lot to change things in the last two years
