State of the industry - 2021

Good call.

ET is still making motors at a reasonable price. I don't know of any locals to me that have one though.
PHP - I heard they could be done making jet ski motors. Just a rumor but the lead guy is losing interest. Their crank rebuild service and service in general from everyone I know is awesome. They have parts and build times are reasonable. Hope they stay in the game.

Maxx pumps. Don't see many people wanting these much.
I just sold a Maxx pump, it was excellent price and quality. Pretty sure he just announced a Titanium pump?

If you were racing and running Total Loss then your racing a Mod Class where you could change ignitions.

A zeeltronic that could drop in place of a 62t cdi wouldn't be a total loss, it would be basically the same thing as an enhancer. Aren't there racing classes that would use that?

Oh ye of not seeing the big picture. 62t is way more plentiful and already has several lightweight flywheel options and allows for oring flywheel covers.

Big picture is realizing that all the shortcomings of the 62T have been addressed in a simpler, lighter, more powerful and programmable package.

Clinging to a box of parts just because you have it already is logical for sure but I’m betting you have a bunch of 64X stuff in that box too.

You got me on the o-ring covers though. I have a pair of those that would become worthless if I was to convert, right along with both my TBM flywheels.

Have to go pull IJSBA and Prowatercraft rules (They differ). There are combos where you can change CDI. But if it going into a 2 Stroke SJ or Blaster in stock class, they not going to let you change flywheel.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there some update on Factory around the end of 2019 leading into the covid thing saying they were in a moving phase to a newer bigger production facility? I was certain that I read that around June last year which explained why B-pipe production was so heavily on hold. They had to focus on OEM pipe production first while transitioning over to a new facility, then they were going full bore on B-pipe production again.

Zeel is working on a 62t based ignition. The test unit will be ready for testing soon, I don't suggest you message the heck out of Borut but I sent him a 62t ignition a while back and he has been working on it.
I have also been talking to him regarding the Msd no longer making brains and its just a case of discovering the out put of the pick up and then it can be converted to run with msd flywheel, etc

Yeah ive been in touch with him, and sent him a MSD TL pickup. he could not messaure wich pickup it is.
Ive been talking with him today, think might put time in the hall sensor unit again (like the JSTL). I talked with him about if he could make the CDI deliver multuple spark or twin spark.
Twin spark is possible for a little extra addition to the board.

Ive also asked Borut, if it could hurt a A02T to use a MSD pickup and see if it would trigger the ignition, he told me it should not hurt it.
So i will try and convince one of my buddies to use their A02T unit :)

The funny thing is the heavier flywheel is actually better in the surf and in most instances. maybe for flat water its not as good but for all other things its awesome

He needs to finish the zxi1100 cdi before you give him more work to do! :p
