actually they would go back further . I noticed that aswell . but its a personal thing . put em where you want em, its your ski .

this is where i put mine .

Are those the tom21 footholds? It didn't looked like the ones sanoman put in would go much further back unless he cut even more off.

l probably have come back another inch ans a half. But l had some compromises to make as in height and fit. Also had to consider the depth of the foothold.lt will work for my height and arm lenght.l have rode other skis with footholds and sometimes you feel as though you are bent over to reach the bars and the holds.l don't like to ride that way.

I understand completely on making those fit. That requires a lot of compromises between hull and hold. I also agree with you on riding position. I ride further forward in the tray with a longer handle pole than most people. I know mcdog hates the way I've setup all my hulls. The problem I have with the stunt is... If I get far enough back to make riding at speed comfortable, I'm too far back at slow speed and can't get the nose down. I'm slowly getting more comfortable riding at speed but it's taking more time that I was expecting.

l hope so,chad! A person could put another 20-25 hours in on the body and there would still be "waves" and flaws. But at some point you have to say is it for show or am l going to go and beat on it....l'll chose the latter!

I've done alot of banging on Dan/Highroller hulls, but with the time and effort you've put in here you're gonna have a very nice setup. Waternut has done a ton of work and tinkering and has his to near "dialed-in" status. I def think that these hulls have lots of potential...you just have to be patient. Between you, Waternut, NCbrock, and Chris most if not all the bugs seemed to have been figured out. Kudos to all you guys for being detailed and persistant. Ski's gonna look sick in the green. What color turf?

sure do. Im going to spray mine with scotch guard first. Then if it ever gets muddy people say to use bleach on it since its white and itll come right off.
