5 hours of sanding underpad sucks! at least the contact cement fumes helps the time go by! i finally no longer have a hump for the pump where the pump is, I have no more fingernails but its worth it

I have half the turf in the tray done, I ran out of contact cement :( I guess that's what happens when you huff all the fumes, I need to get some different hardware for couple of things, all cooling lines set, fuel lines are cut to size, Ed did a fantastic job roughing things in though. I'm definitely troubled by the lack of spark but ran out of time to crack the ebox open and check my epic connections. I in all likelihood hooked it up wrong, did a bunch of little detail stuff, I realize I'm not great, or even good at turf! I am still in decent shape because I cut everything big and just need to trim to snug things in. I learned a lot though and will give it another solid effort tomorrow night, I wish I had all week off, cause I sure could use the time! Anyway thanks to everyone who helped me out on a holiday weekend I really underestimated how much work it is to build one of these skis, and I sincerely thank everyone who is helping a brother out, my technical skill pales in comparison to the guys who have done the majority of the work thus far! The ski looks absolutely awesome, but there is a whole lot more to go.

Calling in the Wolf, he fixes problems, details to follow about what I managed to screw up. This ski will run! Since my bilge pump bracket won't fit, should I just 5200 the bilge pumps in? Man the engine compartment on these are really tight with the front foothold!

5200 works well, it allows more flexibility when mounting the base and it also allows the pumps to be lower than being on the bracket. Get the fast cure otherwise you will be waiting all week for it to dry lol

I'll set those up tonight, my goals for tonight are setting bilge pumps, installing brap strap and hardware, finishing turf, installing breather hoses in hood. Ed is coming over to go through my e-box to see what I screwed up, I'm hopeful for a running engine by Nightfall

Last night we got the ski fired (thank god). Found two connections where the crimp and seal terminals didn't fully crimp or seal. I got the hull side and hood hooks dialed in, I need to get some different hardware for the brap strap anchor got most of the rails and another of the sides turfed, switch for epic installed. Primer installed. We will definitely be ready for riding thursday, alot of little install details like securing all wiring, installing decals, etc.. Pics will be up as soon as I get to work.

That's a Roger it's. In my spare bedroom/ computer room/ my fiancé is the greatest for allowing me to work on my ski indoors room :) going to drill the hood. For breather tubes, anyone have pics of where to install them? Tem said just behind the hand holds, but in the center? To the sides? Any tips would be great. Its coming together really quick, alot of little details to go, but the major stuff is squared away.

So there are 2 valleys and the center hump, I am drilling in the valleys side by side? Or does it work better staggering them?
