See the " TL " right before mounting pics in your quote ....... is yours a " TL " pic ? I think not mister man . I see you have a fancy e-box bracket .

Your move.

I think I pick up an inch by mounting it flush.

That's what she said.

Matt E = FLAMER .......

Ok the next item for bid is the hood . Cool design , but the wings are trouble . They have you working in the dark . Not trying to re invent the wheel ( even tho it is a little much like a circle for my taste ) just looking outside the box.

What about using an L bracket the full length of the pole opening with studs coming up from the bottom . You can sit the hood on vertically and use knurled knobs to tighten the front of the hood down . Could also use quick release skewers from a seat post .

I for one am tired of messing with hoods and hooks on other AM set ups. With the idea I propose one could adjust even pressure on the front as well as the back of the hood seal..... just a thought . FYI you would also use a brap strap .

There is nothing wrong with the hood hooks once you have them set up properly. I'm very happy with mine.

I'm looking for easy. It took a lot of adjusting to get my xft right . Still don't have my surf hood prefect . You can run these hoods with Zero hood hooks and they work fine I'm told. I think I could install this set up or one similar in about 30 minutes vs hours and head aches . I also think it would do a better job maybe not as convenient , but that could be worked out . Guess we will see .

Mine should fit after re wiring and moving some things around. What if you put the TL plate on an angle and used Tobys idea . Several options nun are easy . Thanks for the help my 615 brother . To all Freakers or not Feel free to post TL mounting pics .

Kevin, after I thought about it, there aren't that many freaks with the ffh and most of them are surf or combo skis where TL isn't practical or necessary. TL is more likely on flatwater skis and they usually dont have ffh.
Billybo and Superwetbrett might be only ones.

Billybo mocked up the hooks with 3M double sided tape which is a brilliant idea, just leave it there and drill it in place. There's a million ways to mount the hood and half of them are going to work well , just use a brap/ratchet and as long as the hood seal is getting compressed you can't go wrong .

I think the Jetmaniac/Superfreak FFH is great for all kinds of riding but it is harder to mount the midshaft and the Ebox/TL plate but it can be done with a little creative thinking.

I'm moved by DASA power!
Cold fusion Ebox mount I think is a must when going with the front foot hold! It makes getting things to work incredibly easier and gives you a whole lot more flexibility for things like brap strap mounting, primers, switches for epic systems, things like that.

Thanks Brett, thats what I came up with as well. Are you using turf instead of a coupler cover ? The front foot hold makes things a little tight .

You can use a standard coupler cover, but you have to cut some off the top center in the back.

should i get it with scrupper tube or w/o (if this even is an option). what scrupper valve will fit?
i have always ridden with a bilge pump and it has always been enough for me. dont realy do subs after subs after subs.
and if i would need more i could get 2 500s or one 1000gph? thinking i would like to not sink my ski with a leaky scrupper.

does the footholds come mounted in a good postion or should i ask for something else?

is there anything special i need to think of about my order.

it will be a -4.3" 56 hull and 8.5 hood
