Looking good Darin... just keep hacking at it, you will be at the end of the tunnel soon and then you'll go like mad to finish it up.

I always joke about that too... "Damn, the fiberglass fairy didnt come last night!" lol

I have several major tasks to get done: lower nose rebuild, side exhaust, steering cable relocation, chopped rear end reinforcement, footholds/foaming/glassing the gunwales, top deck bonding, hood repair, argh.

I need to drink more.

I cut the foothold holes tonight, roughed up the tray and footholds and will glue/glass them in tomorrow.

The humidity isn't going to get any better around here until about October :poke:

What I mean is I'd rather do it during the day and close the garage up before the dew sets in. I would have been glassing at 11pm last night.

Footholds are glued in, and I built up the end caps pretty well last night too. Next is take the screws out of the footholds and glass them in and finish reinforcing the end caps and attach the exhaust outlet.

A little more progress yesterday, worked on the steering relocation, footholds, and enclosing the gunwales to get ready for foam.

It's being worked on in a secured area, no cameras allowed.

Actually, I'm just wanting to get it done at this point so I can ride. I've got a lot of stuff going on in my personal life plus the bathroom remodel I did pushed me WAY back along with some other stuff.

The steering relocation and hull shortening are pretty much buttoned up now and I got started on glassing in the gunwales so I can foam/seal them up.

I screwed up...I totally forgot about this being a '93 so the bulkhead doesn't match my bearing housing. I started putting the motor/pump in tonight to glue the bulkhead in and had a big 'DUH' moment.

Anyone got a roundnose bulkhead they're not using?

Here's the steering relocation and end caps.
