I saw his ski tonight. . . . .not the nicest looking girl at the ball, but if he enjoys riding her thats all that matters  J/k If you take the time to look at all the new ideas that are being employed in this build you will appreciate it :scratchchin: Nice work Darin!

Tray is turfed. I'll do the rails in the morning and plan on riding Sunday instead of tomorrow---that'll give me time to get the exhaust routed/secured and make sure it's ready to go.

Good grunt - you are FLYING on this thing! I haven't even glassed the bottom of my tray yet, and you've got your engine in.
Nicely done my man!

What you see is what you get, the hood/nosepiece/pole is all I'm painting for now. I may paint next spring with some good base/clear coat.

.... and it won't be any less fun because it doesn't have an expensive paint job. Mine sure isn't!

Looks like fun Darin!

Just picked up a 9Amp-hour battery, bilge pump, fire extinguisher, and registration numbers. Gotta put the pump in, run the waterlines and tidy up a few things and it's ready to hit the water.

What's the number for Seatow?

Just got back from riding it for the first time. No bilge pump, no scuppers, and no air tubes in the hood, so had to take it easy, but it ran great. I could tell it's lighter within 15 seconds. The nose rides higher, but not bad at all.

Was it worth all the work? Not sure yet, but I do like it so far. The hull is pretty solid too, especially the nose---when I drilled for the nose pin, it's about 3/8" thick there.

I am REALLY glad to hear it!!! Now we need a vid so we believe u. lol JK
If u don't mind sharing the info(and I understand if u don't) it would be awesome to know how much total money you have tied up in the hull project. I think some people on here might just throw up w/they find out you built a really cool hull sooooo cheap!

I didn't keep track of it honestly. Under $2000 easily, probably around $1500 or more.
