So far today I've repaired the hood, foamed part of the nose (the peaks beside the handlepole area), trimmed up the nose reinforcements and sanded it down. Just finished dinner so next up is installing the Pancakepete front foothold and smoothing/glassing over the foam in the nose with some heavy biax which will reinforce the bracket area too.

After that, it's time to reassemble and get it on the water this week hopefully.

Fun fun fun.

Here I am sanding the foam flat so I can lay the biax across the bottom of the handlepole area to the sides of the nose.

Sander, vacuum, and me all up in the nose.

It might have been easier if I had it sitting on a dryer instead of the old table...

Looks like the handlepole did arrive in Louisville, on Friday. They couldn't deliver, so it went back to the post office, but were closed for the 4th. My wife just picked it up, I'll take another 1/2 day vacation to get to work on that and bust out the assembly.

I think the exhaust is the only thing that might hold me up some based on getting some tubing here.

Dude, this handlepole is nice. The steering cable holder really stood out at first glance.

Trying to order some silicone elbows and 2" pipe right now so it will ship today and be here by Friday, we'll see!

What about your stock SN exhaust tube? Too big dia.?

Too heavy, and smaller diameter. I'm doing 2" all the way from stinger to outlet.

I got it ordered already too, 3 90 degree elbows, 2 couplers, and 6' of aluminum pipe should be here Thursday/Friday.

Anyone closer than California (Hydroturf) have some gray B stock or any sheets of turf they want to sell?

Handlepole, hood hooks, hood seal are all on. I also got all my exhaust pipe/etc ordered and should be here Thursday, scuppers by Friday, trim cable is on the way too though it's not required to ride.

I have to trim the Watercraft Factory nosepiece to clear the handlepole then it can go on.

The XR Tech handlepole is really nice, beefy too. And no, I didn't get a weight on it, but it feels like my shortened stocker. I may pull it off to get a weight before pulling cables in.
