I have also met him he is a cool kid and was going to help me out with a waterbox when i could not find any other. Stand up guy and sucks this happened. I would not be mad directly at him since all that is probably true.. but it does suck that swap got screwed over when it came to all this.

It sucks when some hack jacks up a boat and sells it as cream pie. Swap was the dude that wiped off the cream and found the "dookie'. Been a fun trip with this thread and I've had many laughs,but tar and feather the guy that sold it to "Mr Brah" or the dude before that. Or better, who was the original hack that did it or was a little done by all previous owners prior to Swap. Bad Jet Ski Kitty kahrma to he who sold it without full disclosure. And it actually happens alot on here, things sold by members not as described,happened to me plenty of times.

The majority of the time when I buy parts they are legit...through 20 or more transactions I have had maybe two or three bad ones.

So as promised, I worked on the "Really" hull on Saturday.
I did a little foam work for where the foot holds will go eventually, but since I still have some things to work out, I didn't get as far as I would like.
But since I had the time available, I charged forward... and addressed the last item on the list of "Really" grievances with this hull.
The huge wad of glass in the nose <s>for no reason</s>.
Now let me preface.....
Since nobody ever grabs their ski from the front, along the bond line to pull it.... I dunno...............
onto the beach.....
or perhaps a beach stand,
or onto a trailer....
since nobody ever does that... i'm absolutely positive that Mr. Brah would have no way of possibly knowing that this <s>omgwtfwhywouldanyoneeverdothis</s> issue existed.
Because on the off chance that you did grab the ski from the front, it would be immediately apparent that the area underneath the bond line was filled with glass and resin.
So everyone is like......
"But... but... Mr. Swapmeet... he told you everything he knew about the ski when he described it in the PM... he said so ^^^ up there... and he seems like such a nice guy in person..."
I never said he was a rude, mean, or socially inept.
I never accused Mr Brah of personally performing the atrocities that have been committed against my ski.... I DID wish genital herpes of the eye upon whoever is responsible for ^^^^ some of the amazingly horrible work... but that's different.
Listen... there are a variety of factors at play. I'm dramatic... The drama is funny... and "the funny" kept me from truly having an issue with Mr Brah and the hull.... The ski provided great material for me to be dramatic about... I was aware that he didn't do the... dare I say 'work'...
But since Mr Brah wants to suddenly reveal himself... than fine. Total seriousness...
Never thought i'd use this gif in my thread....
If I had seen this hull in person I would have NEVER bought it. If he had described it accurately, I would have never bought it. If someone asked me if he was a good seller, I would say "Be real careful, cause this "super nice kid from Cali" (brah) will feign ignorance when he sells you a POS and claim he had no idea."
BTW...
Revealing yourself in the middle of the contest is an A+ USDA Choice 100% D-Brah move... Brah....
