Super Jet Swapmeet's "Really?" RN build

I spent most of Friday trying to figure out who Mr. Brah was. I seriously spent wayyyy to much time (at work) lol. I have clues 1-4 all good. I have a question about clue 5 though.

Your clue is :
The first letter in post number ____ = 8.1L engine in cubic inches, minus 200.

Are we supposed to go with actual cubic inches, or as CI as advertised by GM? or maybe I am being dumb.

Otherwise, great build so far! I've learned a lot and wasted far to much time.

Ya know, thats a good question. I was going off the stated CI... but after doing the conversion...

I try to make it easy, but kinda hard. And instead i'm just making bad guesses.

How about this, instead of the 8.1L thing... Your post minus 627 should get you there.

I don't know whats wrong, but i'm just not feeling it lately. I think i'm just tired. Not enough hours in the day, at least not for fun stuff.

As history has shown, if i'm not irritated than i'm not funny. And since i've kinda dug up most of the "WTF? Really?!?" issues on this hull, its somehow taken the wind out of my whittle tiny sails.
But seriously, i'm so exhausted.

Yes... Yes.... I know... This is what i'm doing....

I am making progress tho. I poured a little more foam last night, and I have a plan for my foot holds.

I'll try to muster up some excitement (I planned on doing this later today, when I wasn't so tired, but here it goes.)

So I needed to call a local riding buddy about some foot holds. I got busy at work yesterday and completely forgot.
I go out to my shop, survey what I can get done in the 30 min I had left before my wife and churrren get home.

Then it hits me...

I gotta call this guy...!!!

So we're talking and he's like "Hey man, i've got a set of Rickter holds just sitting in my closet...."

Mind. Blown.

Who just has Rickter holds chilling...?

But I digress....

So he says, "Is that something you'd be interested in?"

And on the phone i'm like...

But inside i'm like...

Of course... I ask how much he wants.. and he says "Oh... I dunno... $(Insert amazing fantastic price here)?"

So I ever so politely respond

I thought you were installing some experimental holds from jetmaniac or one of the superfreak crew?!?!?!

Did I miss something?

Don't use Bondo as a body filler. Bondo is Poly based and can absorb water. It will not stick as well as some other options. The easier option (not buying anything special) is to mix cab-o-sil and microspheres with epoxy. These 2 items are just like glass, they have no real shelf life, unlike other waterproof body fillers. Just mix them with the resin until you get the consitancy you want. Microspheres for sandability, cab-o-sil for thickening.

Microspeheres are little tiny glass beads. When you sand them, they leave pin holes because they are hollow. After you have the majority of the body work done, you can use bondo to get that smooth finish to eliminate the pin holes, and it should be okay because you are using a very very very minute amount of the bondo. It wouldn't be a bad idea to use something epoxy based and water proof, but for very minor finish work, it should be ok, just don't use it for heavy body work, like filling the edges of that exhaust.

Your glass work on your exhaust and one-way fill can leak if they are not right. The problem is the gaps in the weave that the resin doesn't fill. You can have something super strong that has minor spaces in the weave, that is completely wetted out, but still leaves some pin holes inb/t the weave. You mau need to add some extra layers, or take care of it with body work. More thin layers of glass is better than fewer thicker layers, when it comes to making sure you have no leaks and strength.

-Great, I Think you may have just drug this build out even longer. The Swapmeet is very particular and anal about his work, He appears to be his own worst critic..Any uncertainty on his behalf and we could be here another 47 pages!

Soooooo who is Mr. Brah?

Figure it out lol.... I'm still gonna give the 5th guess a prize. And it will be awesome. But ya'll gotta get off your tush and guess. Hell, maybe the 5 people who guess ALL get a little something. Watcha think? But not until I get 5 total, or 4 more... And then we'll reveal Mr. Brah!

Are you going to have this done by the 1,000 post thread cap?
