Super Jet Swapmeet's "Really?" RN build

...chaos? Its Fair!
Yes, The RRP models are a little cost prohibitive.... Also I sent them a e-mail over a month ago asking some questions and did not recieve a response. I then contacted Fast Elements (because they offer RRP products) asking the same info, and still no response.

No customer service = No Swapmeet monies.

Thats good info about the TOM21 holds... I would MUCH rather support that guy than RRP, and kinda more than the other folks. Only because Tom is on here, answering questions, giving advice, and pretty much setting sucka's straight. I only see DK etc come in to defend themselves (which is fine). And it would seem that he develops products specificly for X-er's. Small one off parts, like the SN nose piece.

TOM! Get in my thread!!!

We exchanged a few pm's and he wouldn't give much detail but all he had left to do was make the buckets and he would be ready to unveil them. You know they will be good quality per his other work. I decided to hold off on BOB ones until he unveils his.

Tom's stuff is top notch. I haven't heard about or seen his adjustable holds but I would assume they will be sweet if they are up to the quality of his other work.

LMAO....

Funny you bumped this up for me. I was gonna make a little update this morning.
I've been busy doing dadlyfe stuff lately. Wife is outta town this week and i've lacked both the motivation and energy to even go out to my garage.
But I know i'll be busy between now and Sunday, so last night was my only chance.

Kinda funny, its been so long since i've worked on it, I forgot that I had bought hardware to finish. I started installing my battery tray, the bolts were too small... the hardware store was closed and my little girl is asleep.

I'm like:

Then I peek inside a tiny paper hardware store bag on my work bench...

So... Battery box is in... ski starts.
The idle sounds better than it did before. Its prolly too soon to say, but I think the old tank was my issue.
Looking forward to getting on the water Sunday... I think I need some brap in my life right now.

Finally rode the Really Hull on Sunday. On a new lake....
Winds were out of the south, 20+mph, creating a pretty much continious 2-3' swell. Pretty awesome.

Ski ran good, had a waterline come loose but no big deal, just a quick hose clamp adjustment. I would say it ran better than the first ride. Not 100% sure I can attribute that to the tank, but who knows. Hoping to make it out next weekend but the weather supposed to really turn to crap.

I think i'm gonna throw on the 9/15 Hooker and see how she runs. I've got it.... so why not.

Really looking forward to hearing from Mr TomTwentyOne...... Kinda psyched for his top secret foot keeper in placers. :sneaky:

curious to hear a back-to-back comparison. Ride year round in Texas?

You're not the only one... I've got a bunch of people wanting to know. I just want to make sure everything is tuned perfect (or as close as possible) before I put a different impeller on.

Yeah, it was 88* and windy yesterday, but we're getting a cold front Friday, the high is supposed to be 65* but thats in the morning, by noon it'll be in the low 50's and I think 45* was the low. Welcome to Texas.

Have you changed to new plugs since break-in? Or tuned/leaned carbs at all yet?
