Little update...

I installed the cooling tubes and reused the trim tube. Went ahead and 5200'd them in place. I also slathered on some resin/ cabosil on the ride plate receivers.

I split the PVC and then notched it to create drains in the back of the hull. Splitting this was a little harder than I imagined, took me two tries and isn't perfectly straight. But it has to work good, not look good.

Can you explain more about this? Looks like a French Drain. What kind of foam are you putting back in?

LOL, I ain't playing the game because I'm too lazy...... :cat40:

You're doing good, Robin. I'm in the process of reinforcing my Superjet. I got the fiberglass/resin supply and still have not start on it. Your thread is encouraging me to get it done ASAP before riding season starts!

Thanks Tyler... sometimes I struggle to find the motivation to work on it... and time is even harder to come by. But I REALLY want it ready by the LSFR...

It is, I"ll be using the purple home insulation foam. The idea being that water will inevitably find its way under the tray, so why not help it find its way back out. I'll be installing Blaster style drains at the rear of the ski. I guess I need to get some of those huh....

You have a plenty of time. Although I'm not attending LSFR this year for some particular reasons. This is where I am at with my SJ. I'm debating what foam to use. I'm thinking Styrofoam but I don't want to worry about that right now. I'm in shortening the rear/reinforcing the walls phrase. Got to concentrate on one thing at a time.

Yeah Yeah..... That is 3M masking tapes covering the top deck. I don't want to mess up the paint. It's in excellent condition. If I don't get it done before riding season, at least I got the SXR and my cousins' X2 and FX-1.

Dang that thing is pretty clean. Makes me not like mine even more.....
Is it just factory black?

I worked on mine last night, but I want to make more progress before I update and release another clue... :sneaky:
