Lil D did the same thing with his Hurricane in Daytona when the carbon cracked apart near the pole bracket.

I actually lawn darted mine in Panama City Beach, FL last year and had to go to Montgomery, Alabama 3 days later for another comp. Thus a couple layers of gorilla tape came in to play. I wanted to ride, not worry about how it looked. Anyways.....
Stoked you are getting to ride swap, your ski looks good man

I suppose you ride with no issues ,you wouldn't understand

It wasn't a hateful statement. I actually have respect and appreciation for almost all hull builders and that includes The Ski Clinic. They have helped this sport grow by mass producing freestyle hulls on somewhat of a budget. It has also caused new hull builders to attack the market with the same inspiration: produce competitive quality hulls on a budget and flood the market with their product! That's a great thing because competition between hull builders only makes this sport better for the riders. I would probably not personally buy a BOB but I'm glad they are involved in this industry.

I don't know. I was trying out little baby nose stabs, taking it pretty easy I thought. I remember twice when I came up (I fall off a lot... like 90% of the time) that the pole was extended and I was still holding on to it (ski on side etc). I didn't find the damage until later in the day.

I had let two other future Chan owners try it out on Sat, but even though I didn't watch their every move, I never saw them trying anything that made me worry. And I wouldn't have let them ride it if I thought they wouldn't be careful.

So while i'd like everyone to believe I was taking it super easy on the hull (I wasn't trying to go big because I didn't have a limiting rope) I think its possible that I torqued the nose and caused the damage.

Your initial comment stirs up the poop regardless of intent, but that is a well written response.
