hey guys its been a long winter up here in Alaska working construction trying to catch up on replacing the super jet lost at surf slam and thanks to wonderful support from friends, family and sponsors my super jet is near completion. I was fortunate enough to also have the opportunity to receive a Rickter, RRP sponsorship for 2012 and get into the discipline of freestyle along with buoy racing and free riding events. On the menu was a 2012 full carbon fiber XFR in the XFS weight layup. This ski will give me the room in the tray I desire but the performance capabilities to win amateur world titles.

Today was D day in Ketchikan Alaska. After sweating out the wait, this hull made its way from Rickter Composites in Thailand to Seattle Washington via airlines and then shipped on a barge from Seattle to Ketchikan thanks to the wonderful shipping sponsor of mine, Alaska Marine Lines.

This hull for me was the only one I rode that I felt completely at home on for its size. I feel that Rickter has come a long ways in strength, quality and ability. They are among the best in fit and finish for a builder and can make anyone ride better. The XFS was the only hull this short that I felt like doesn't fall on its bum and is ridable in most all around lake and small surf conditions. But it is also capable of true stock 701 backflips which I have witnessed in person. I cannot express how excited I am to have the chance to own one of these skis and show what I can do on one. This is of course only my opinion I have nothing bad to say of any other manufacturer or mean to start a tussle on this thread. But for me and my goals this was the best move.

I am very excited to state another sponsor for 2012, Dasa Racing has shipped my 885cc 10mm stroker motor today and I shall be receiving that in a bout a week. This ski will also be running MSD total loss, Power Factor Dry pipe, all Cold-Fusion billet, RRP controls and much much more to come :) enjoy the pics!

I am impressed with this motor just holding it in my hand and with the rest of the top dog parts im sure this ski will be amazing. It is being built for competition freestyle and I am working very hard to see that I can make everything top notch.

sick build - an XFR is what I'll get if I can ever get permission from the wife.

what is the white plastic thing against the bulkhead? gas tank? ebox?

kind of surprised no one has done a tank in the gunwall areas, foam on bottm and tank on top, with a cross over or something. too much weight at the rear maybe?

nice ski.. when is she looking to get wet. (insert innuendo here)
