Maybe I'll sand sand sand sand then shoot. I'll have to wait to judge how intensely sucky all that sanding can be.

Ahhh! Don't remind me . I couldnt even play guitar last night because my hands sucked so bad.

A DA sanding though might do the trick.

So I still have no idea how much weight I am going to save but it turns out the hood has 8 layers already from its last two paintings. It's almost a millimeter thick. Two primers, two sealers, two color, two clear.

Make sure you only use one thin, half coat of Hydro-Turf glue in your tray. Have you felt how heavy a quart of that stuff is??? Maybe skip the underpadding too, less weight and less glue that way.

Don't even run turf, just screw your shoes into the holds then just lace your feet in and hit the start button. You just saved a couple pounds!!

Sanding and all things are done up, the Dexter makeshift booth is all cleaned up and taken down, paint this weekend, vinyl wrap next week, then the guts go back in.
