Some of you may remember back in '13, I took a stab at building my own freestyle hull from scratch. Well I went back to the lab, threw away the old drawing board, and geared up for round 2. I spent the better part of '14 perfecting my lay-up and infusion techniques so I could spend less time finishing the parts after they're popped out.
You guys have seen a hundred build threads, and even a few that didn't start til page 30. Well I won't bore you and get to the business.

You start with a flanged plug. WP_20150706_005.jpg

Then you squirt some gelcoat to make a mold WP_20150707_003.jpg

Throw in some cloth with a bag over it....WP_20150806_002.jpg

Run some resin through and pop it out WP_20150808_004.jpg WP_20150808_006.jpg

Piece of cake right?? Doing it with little or no seams steps up the game a little bit.

After all the dust settled and I coughed out the last carbon lung pie. Here's what I was standing next to.WP_20151015_005.jpg

I need to thank @fatboyktm and @SomeDonnieDude for putting in some hours and donating a few parts to help me make my Georgia SFF deadline. As well as my brother Matt for the last minute vinyl work and being my designated infusion hose holder. Also thanks to Brian at @THRUST for the killer billet goodies and @air blair for the motor plates. Can't forget to mention @JetManiac for the typical odds and ends. Also a big thank you to all the guys at the Southern Fried Freeride for all the kind words and hospitality at an awesome event. We will definitely be back next year.

I was one of the lucky ones that got to ride the new Hammer at SFF....I loved it! It had very similar riding qualities to the RIP, and of course I love my RIP!

The quality is truly insane, and there are so many cool custom and hidden details.

Thanks again @hydrostyler for the test ride! I would love to get more time on one of these and beat it up a little bit....I was too nervous when you left me ride it!

Haha, thanks Matt. You should have jerked a flip around. If it breaks, I'll just build another one.
