I love my dual digital.. Flawless for a year now.
I swamped my whole big bore whore SJ last Saturday. Dumped the water out of the engine, did old faithful a few times, dumped a bunch of fuel in the carbs and she fired right up first time. OEM ignition takes quite awhile to get going after a good swamping.

50,000 VOLTS MF! lol what movie was that from?

Yeah total loss is awesome
I was going to put it on my 2008 but i havr changed my mind i just dont think it will drive well with total loss as it will flare to much on a rough straight

Plus it will tire they crap out of me on the track
I am using an sxr ignition on my boat this will allow me to run the charging as well
Just another little bonus

On the other side i fitted total loss into my race boat last year an 800 hx and it was awesome with no problems what so ever

We should do a thread for total loss settings like we did for carbs. Something like:

29 degrees advance
5000 start retard
8000 rev limit
13 degrees retard at limit
stock 1996 motor with stock 38 carbs
B-pipe

(I just copied Matt E)

Why not run your Inferno ignition?

I am running the inferno on it with some fancy programing
Have a look at the front cover on my engine

Because of the liteweight flywheels made for the 62t based electrics you cant run an aftermarket ignition succesfully
It comes down to the shape of the magnets
Thats why you have to adjust your stator plates for the different flywheels
have a look at the jetenitics site
Rad is the same

Just ask tbm he is trying to make a superjet flywheel that will run with an advent now
Thats why i was going to go for the total loss

However i discovered that i can use a digital pickup of a 760 ignition and program to run it
I have a rad liteweight charging flywheel i am using with that

I could almost read your excitement when you thought you had caught me out
Sorry boys, i have nothing to hide

I thought you sent one to LPW one time for testing?

hurry up and get that thing on the market... MSD needs a competitor.. badly.

I have a quite a few in australia but the weak american dollar at the moment doesnt make it viable to send to the usa

Paul did get some from me , but it played up when he was dyno testing it
That was the early version software
The software was rewritten and i reprogrammed a whole lot and that issue went away
