Eric, given that male end is aluminum, you may be dealing with galvanic corrosion. You could get around it by using a different material for your restricter like nylon.

I'm not sure if these disconnects could be modded to house a restricter or not but it wouldn't surprise me. I'm going to run those proportioning valves before both pissers as apposed to restricters due to how often our water temp changes. I am planning on a restricter in my stinger line but I don't plan on changing its size for different water temps.

Give them a call and ask for the 'dash' number(s) needed and the material they recommend. I did the same for my protec head and the dude had no problem with giving me that info. Then post up and I'll find the corresponding mc pn and add it to the list. Really, the same can be done for any part you guys want o-rings for...

Just found that McMaster sells these neat little barbed aluminum fittings that work great for fuel lines.

The .170 I.D. sizes work the best with OEM fuel line and they come anodized in silver, black, blue, and red.

Also the .170 size can be tapped with an M5x.80mm tap on the end for use as a fuel restrictor and will work with Mikuni main jets.

Straight Fittings $1.96 each.

5058K132-Black
5058K133-Blue
5058K134-Red

Right Angle Elbows $2.88 each.

5058K491-Silver
5058K492-Black
5058K493-Blue
5058K494-Red

T-Fittings $4.88 each.

Another engineer at my work has a McMaster Carr catalogue. I have been looking through it for the past three weeks seeign what all they have. The catalogue is a few years old but man do they have everything. And I mean EVERYTHING!

A few things I thought would be handy for skis was that they have ball hines for your cylinders. They also have these niffty looking cable holders. One thing for shipping I think is cool is a box prefforator. It is a tool for around 15 bucks that you can use to preforate a box to give you a nice line to fold it down at. Basically helps you make boxes smaller. I think I will order one.

I will dig out the part nnumbers for the other stuff later this week.

Why not just measure the head and look them up to get the correct ones am I missing something here?

Mark44

No you're not missing anything except that maybe I'd like to have a spare set of gaskets hanging around without having to tear the head off to find out what they are.

they are oin the up and up with their logistics. If it ever takes more than a day or 2 for me its typically a fup with the Currier's. i order from them all the time. Very pleased with every aspect.
