the trivial complaints thread

I feel your pain. I worked at the local car wash for 8 yrs growing up and it was amazing how many vehicles came in looking like that. Straight up disgusting and they were always the ones that wouldn't tip

I work on handicap accessible vans/vehicles and a lot of them unfortunately look like that. There are some customers though that really take pride in their van, which make sense since a new minivan can cost $60,000 +

He's never said how "drinks" last Friday went...

'Drinks' were fantastic. Then last week I went on vacation and met a brand new 'friend' whom enjoyed my company so much that she booked us a cabin for next year. She's closer to my age than the rock climber.....only 22 yrs younger than me. So, @Big Kahuna, no need for self service at this point. :)

Been smelling a nast sulfur/rotten egg smell coming out of my ac vents, then remembered couple weeks back my battery was acting weird, got out to check it today a lil swelled and hotter than hell on the sides

My boss, the owner of the company, asked me the other day if I was ok working on his wife's older Lexus. I told him that I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue. He brought it in yesterday: 2013 Lexus RX350 with 5,000 miles. How is that and "older" vehicle? My two vehicles are 12 and 9 years old, and to me they are "newer"!

What "work" does a car with 5k miles need?! New wiper blades?

Our shop is expanding so they added two lead positions. They are looking for two machinists to run our lathe and mill departments. My boss told me I meet every qualification for the lathe lead position but I'm not eligible to apply because Our HR department 1000 miles away have specified that any type of management position requires a bachelors. They don't care what the degree is in. I just have a HS diploma. Can't wait for a jackass with a liberal arts degree and minimal machining experience to come in and tell me how to run my machines....it's no wonder blue collar jobs in America are on the decline.
