Expensive. Who is going to pay 45k for a crew cab truck. I paid 21500 for my 2008.5 Titan Crew Cab after 10K employee discount. So 31500. I can handle 31k. 45+ is BS

Trucks are crazy expensive. 45K is the new norm without a doubt. My truck stickered for about 10k more than that too :eek::eek:

In 2008 they where giving trucks away.. recession, 4$ gas, etc..

Today I am going to look at a 2004 f150 lariat 4x4 for $13k with 125,000 miles...

Buy it and don't look back. I just bought an 11' platinum crew cab tundra in May and I'm loving it. 55K on the clock

$1.37 per gallon flex fuel fill ups are nice too. Just paid $29 for a full tank.

I haven't seen any flex fuel in komifornia. I did just buy gas for 2.09 though!

I lucked out in April. 2011 F250 Super Duty 4X4 120K miles pretty much mint for $10K. Only things I didn't like were the throttle feel and shift points, and an SCT X4 Tuner took care of that. Not a fan of the suicide back doors either, dumbest idea ever, but those won't get used much at all.

About a year ago I was getting 180+ emails a day because some spammer was using my email addy. The emails were mostly "undeliverable" notices with the odd, "jump off a cliff and die" response. Thankfully it ended after a couple months.

I had my eye on a truck last week and was going to put a hold on it for Friday but my wife balked at the price so I dropped it.

We went and looked at about 30 trucks on Saturday and eventually ended up at the dealer with the first truck. My wife loved it and after 30 or so other prices, was more than ready to pay the asking price.

Long story short, somebody else put a hold on it and it sold this morning. :(

The silver lining is that we did find another solid contender. It's $3K more but has 45K fewer miles in it and is absolutely spotless. I'm just not sure about the color.

Dont let colors bother you, if its better mechanically go for it! Edit nevermind carmax has it. I would pass just because i hate dealing with those car nazis

You have to buy a car to have it taken off lot to have a mecha ic in spect it. We get lots of customers bringing in rusted junk northern cars from carmax, then they return to carmax and are told they cant have their money back but that they will find them another car instead. I just dont like their practices. Never had a bad experience personally but i have seen a lot of junk come from our local carmax and several hsd pretty serious wreck damage and after hearing their speil about how they dont sell wrecked cars i just dont really trust them.
