Here in Colorado we have a city (Boulder) that puts pedestrian crossings damn near in the middle of the highway. Most cities would put a crosswalk at the street light. Not Boulder. They sneak them in wherever they think people may want to cross to enjoy some bird watching or take a stroll through an overgrown grass field.... This idiotic mentality leads to a situation where a stupid hippie hits the crosswalk light mid stroll without bothering to stop and give cars 5 seconds to slow down, cars slam on their breaks, all of a sudden 55mph traffic is stopped dead in the most unexpected place without any warning, the hippie gives you the finger because you were supposed to somehow anticipate him running across the highway and is mad you stopped 9 feet and 11" away instead of a solid 10" away, and the entire city government fuels this entitlement mentality by slapping every car who fails to stop on a dime with a wreck less endangerment ticket or whatever it is they charge you with. Boulder would ban every car that isn't a Prius or Subaru outback decorated with the obligatory coexist and Obama/biden stickers if they could. If north korea ever nukes America I pray that they bomb Boulder first.

I meant pedestrian crossings with stop signs. Every store I go to has stop signs at the pedestrian crossings and maybe 1 in 10 cars come to a complete stop.

I guess this is trivial b/c its only a phone, but my complaint is with myself. I really thought I could replace my 5s screen plus install new battery!! No-go. Its back together but has lines and parts of the lcd doesn't function. Either my flex cables are messed and bent wrong or some plugs ( digitizer and/or lcd) aren't seated properly. Either way I'm done going into phones.

Lesson learned--Pay the hundy and wait an hour.

This e-mail. I planned two work trainings back to back utilizing the holiday to give myself some time off. Have been busting ass for 8 weeks not taking any days off because this would de-stress me. At least the dude is pretty down to earth...My boss approved the trip then I got transferred...

Got Text from an installer at 6:00 AM. "I have a migrane, not coming into work". Had a good sized VCT job for him to install. Not something that could wait until monday. Guess What I have been doing most of the day...........

My boss... yeah he decided he was leaving early today, cause he owns the place. But he neglected to sign paychecks.

I'm no where near a place in my life where not having my paycheck on pay day matters, but this particular check happens to be my commission check. It also happens to be more money than i've made in my last 3 commission checks combined.
We've all been struggling this year and it just chaps my ass a little that he's gonna bounce at noon on pay day.

All of this is really just pushing me to look for other employment.
