the trivial complaints thread

The entire jk model disappointed me so bad. 2 door or 4 door neigher had better power than my 98 witv the mighty 4.0. Drove a 4 door 6 speed that sounded like the valves were comin out of the heads. But you cant beat the resale they get like bk said.

The 4.0 was a good motor from my researrch. The 3.8 that replaced it was a turn, same motor that was in the minivans. The newer 3.6 is suppose to be much better. Believe for 2016 they are updating the 3.6 and it looks even better.

I have been looking at Jeep Wrangler 4 Doors lately, not in market, just looking. That is about the only vehicle I would buy new, because 2 year old pretty owned are going for almost the same price as new. They freaking hold their value.
My stepfather has an 2015 4dr. I love it and so does he.

If my CRV wasn't so damn reliable, I'd have one.

@Big Kahuna I had a 07 Titan LE Crew Cab and traded it with right at 100k on the clock. Probably my favorite truck ever, but the gas was killing me. This is back when 87 octane was $3-4/gallon.

Also, the rear axle was making some noises and I'd heard they had a tendency to seize up after 100k. I decided to cut my losses.

Man that truck would tow though. The new ones are U G L Y

We have a gas pump at work. On of my only perks. I pulled a 6500 lb toy hauler last fall and it took everything the truck had.

To this day I cant understand how people like jeeps for road going vehicles. I'm a recon manager for a dealership. I've driven dam near everything, and without a doubt the Jeep wrangler is one of the worst driving vehicles ever made. Its god awfull horrible. Off road its king of the hill but I don't offroad to and from work every day.

Since this is the complaints thread, I have a couple.
-Bought a used accord 3 months ago, the auto trans died last week.
-Battery in my 650sx died
-Battery in the 600RR bike died
-AC went out in truck coming back from lake where batt in 650sx had died.
-I fixed the ac only to find the battery in the truck now dead as well
-Came out from dinner to find my kickstand had torn a good 8-12" chunk of asphalt up and my CBR lying on side
-Bringing CBR to work today in back of shop truck, went over massive bump, suspension compressed and strap hooks came off, CBR falls on its side for second time in a week
-Get new transmission for accord only to learn I can't really do this on my back in a driveway and need a lift. Can't access a lift when I have time off meaning I have no choice but pay my buddy to install
-Broken tooth started giving massive pain and had to get root canal and crown

This has all happened in the space of maybe 3 weeks. So yeah, I have a little bit to complain about. F this month.

A 2 door Jeep for daily driver would never happen. 4 Door. Who knows

Dont think of it as a 4 door jeep. Think of it as a 4 wheel drive minivan with a crappy gutless engine that will leave you feelin like you bought a full am hull but the only engine that fits it is a 440 kawi. My wife told me i could get a 4 door to replace my tj when i finish school and i told her i would rather walk.

I work on the 3.6 daily..... It is not all that great and has a few issues. The 4.0 as bullet prof for the most part, they leaked oil, burned oil, but would run forever.
