the trivial complaints thread

Lowes customer service: "yes we do price match if it's the same product"
Me: "it's the same product. 1x6 cedar pickets"
Them: "with the same part number, from the same vendor?"
Me: "how would I know that? They look the exact same."
Them: "Is their store in the same zip code?"
Me: "it's like three miles away. I would buy there but they aren't open today. Here is their online price for the exact same product (show them my phone so they can see every detail). It's nearly half of your price."
Them: "we need to verify their online price by contacting their manager."
Me: "but I just told you they are closed today."
Them: "I guess we can't price match then."
Lol Best Buy is bull crap as well , they "price match " everyone hire then they are but no company's lower . Had a excuse for every price I found lower .

Ran into that last time I bought a laptop. Seems like each retailer has the same computer with a different model number. Ones silver, ones gray. One has more RAM but a smaller HDD. Few extra USB ports one one version. Makes it very annoying to try to compare them and find the "best" price.

My ski ran great all weekend at the Carolina Beach Freeride. It was the first time it had ever seen salt. There were zero gremlins all weekend, I took it out to the surf and flopped/spinned around. It was test rode by probably 5-7 people, a few of them tried some flips, and still had zero issues....I was pretty proud of that!!

So the next day I go to the lake to rinse out the ski and some guy wants to throw me some wakes, so I go for a few flop attempts and my steering nozzle exploded lol. It wasn't from hitting bottom either...I think the top trim ring bolt decided to leave the ski. Thankful it didn't happen in the surf!

I just bought an SXR 800 to ride while I try to figure out an electrical issue on my SJ, and now both skis are down!

As of right now, I have 4 skis that are all down. I'm about to park everything and ride MX, and if I didn't have a dirtbike I would probably cry lol.

Riding yesterday, ski starts vibrating after 30 minutes. I thought I had it perfectly aligned so I freaked out, thought my Solas bearings died on me. Pulled pump, it felt perfect. Pulled motor forward and felt midshaft.. 1/16 of up and down play, enough for grease to leak out of the seals, and the side to side play made it feel like the coupler was loose. It's always something!!
