Got back from World Finals 2 weeks ago, left out on Thrusday for the SFF. Started getting sick with Sinus Crud, lost my voice for most of the weekend. Wish my voice would find its way home.

Here is my rant or bitch for today. Had an awesome day at work (rarely happens) got to go out with a business tech and we installed and setup a new zaxbys getting built. Cool work I haven't done in forever and was nice to be out in the field working. My complaint is again the boat, go figure. Anchor light was messed up after re wiring everything not a huge deal got on Amazon ordered new stuff got delivered today thinking awesome the last thing on my to do list before Saturday. Doesn't work at all. F'en livid as this will disqualify us from competing. Tomorrow night is all tied up at the school preparing for this weekend. So I have tonight or Friday night and I'm way to OCD to wait till night before to hope I find the parts I need locally and wired up. I'm very lucky man that has a wife that is going back to town at 7 tonight to try and find the parts I need and come home help me re wire it yet again with new equipment while I tie up the other loose ends around here.
Amazon rarely fails me but it's always when I need it now that they do.

I saw some FB post about living in cities where your paycheck gets your the most in a list of 20 US cities.

They based it off median base salary and median home value. I decided to look into Toronto's figures and found this nasty chart

Granted the FB Post most likely used Condos, Townhouses and Semi's to get such low figures. Either way Toronto's real estate bubble feels like its ready to burst.

Guy i worked with had issues with his two pre teen daughters talking back and being brats.

One day they came home from school and all they had in there rooms was a blanket and one change of clothes. Did not even have a door to there rooms anymore. For breakfast lunch and dinner they where given oatmeal. More or less the bare minimum that foster care has to do and so CPS couldn't say anything to him. After that every week they where good they got to choose 1 item back. First they picked there beds, then there doors etc. Anyway he had great results with it. So might be worth trying.

Same here but we are male. I remember the way my sister spoke and acted towards my parents and it was appalling. She eventually figured out she was being a brat and came around. It's a phase. The trick is to get them figure it out before somebody gets killed.

And she lost her door several times. ;)

We have removed Izzy's door 2 times!!!!!!!!!!! It been a few years, and she is getting more into her privacy, But still pushes. Right now there is not Tablet for her!!!!! No date set when she will get it back either, Use to be "1 Week"....... This time around, It is gone until she changes her attitude..... She having trouble with this some!

my son would not clean his room. I told him I would clear everything out and throw it away. Couple warnings then all his stuff went in a dumpster at my office. Skim board guitar amp skate boards all of it in the trash. Dumpster divers had a field day, I watched a guy walk off with a new guitar and amp.

Well, Went to Dr last tuesday. I have what he called Allergic Laryngitis. Ordered not talking until my voice comes back. Anybody that knows me knows how hard that is......... to not talk!

I have a 6yr degree in business mgmt and minimal lathe machining experience. Can i tell you how to do your job?

Seriously i think your mentality may be holding you back. Be positive about changes. Any opportunity can be an opportunity to grow.

I used to hate to have to do drills at practice with a less advanced teammate/ or uncoordinated freshman. But my coach told me one day that if i couldnt work with a less advanced person and become better myself while improving their skill that i would not deserve a varsity position.

Needless to say. I was a reliable bench warmer. If your not open to someone elses critical insights, well, you either have it all figured out, or you have reached a level of omnipotence on par with Trumpilstiltskin.
