Andrew how in the #@$&* do you ride barefoot in the winter? Even with our mild San Diego winters, the water here in Oceanside gets down to as low as 58 degrees which makes my hands and feet go numb. I know the water where your at is even colder- what’s your secret? You just man-up and ride with numb feet?

yea, just tough it out...when i used to live up near eureka the water would get down to like 51 deg..guys would look at me like i was crazy when i would paddle past them with bare feet after running through the frost covered sand!!..tank of gas only last an hour and a half tops...how cold can you get??????

I love my asics but don't like all the debris that gets in there. Just wondering if anyone has ever tried cutting holes in the bottom of their's to let out sand and rocks? I've been debating this for a while but wanted to know if anyones tried it. No sense in destroying mine if it actually lets in more than it lets out.

I rock the Rulon Gardner's series asics. They helped me get a few rounds through Masters Wrestling tournament last year, and still help me shred all over the west coast.

Grips wet Hydro turf almost better then a Wrasslin mat.
thats my 2 cents

holy crap bro... those are some serious boots. looks like great ankle support though. how's the fit into footholds?

i've had slippery comp boots for some time... i switched to Asics this year and love them... but they will not be warm enough this winter.

I use the NRS boots. Best ever for me ,but too cold during late fall/early spring for me. Then I bring out my Seasoft Stealths. Killer warm, a bit less support though.
