do a search... haha sorry couldnt resist... I wear wrestling shoes as many do... but there is some wearing wake skate shoes or something like that... that may be my next pair... I think Frosty just got a pair... ask him... but wrestling shoes are good too.

Me too. nothing better IMO. Just make sure they are the all rubber bottom, not the ones with rubber patches with leather/suede.

I used to wear wetsuit booties, but they weren't thick enough and the tops of my feet would still hurt once in a while. Now I wear a pair of old asics wrestling shoes. You really can't go wrong with wrestling shoes. They offer ankle support and protection, they are light and they actually dry a lot faster than normal running/tennis shoes do.

Wrestling shoes will not cover upper ankle scuffing on REV's , I have had serious problems and this winter I will tare them apart and recutt the fiberglass to make them fit better.

I have used a drink cup holder, which with some force slips over your ankle

Yea that's the problem I have cause my ankles are getting torn up pretty high up. Those can cozies are a good idea though

I use wrestling shoes with my REVS and i HATE the REVS. I have bald spots on my legs from rubbing. I wont be using them on my next ski :smashfreakB:

You guys need to shape 25mm padding over those spots....under the turf. Makes em super nice!

Oh and wrestling shoes all the way here. They hold the ankle brace in place nicely

x2 padding helps big time. It's like using pad under the carpet in your house, makes it a lot more comfy.

Converse hightops with a 2mil wetsuit sock underneath. The sock goes about 3" higher than the shoes and protects your ankle from turf rashes. If your riding with a full suit your good to go, or if your riding in shorts wrap duct tape around the top of the sock to keep it from filling with water.

Man, you guys have some crazy solutions to protecting your feet. I have no foot holds but the turf on the tray shreds the skin on my toes apart. I still ride barefoot and just peel the skin off when im done. I have learned to wear gloves atleast, maybe shoes will come soon

I love to go out and rip around with no shoes and the turf doesnt bother my feet but damn no shoes in footholds just sucks.

X2 I don't wears shoes when I ride my SXR on flat water. The turf doesn't bother the bottom of my feet. I only wear shoes when I ride my SJ in the surf and am relying on my footholds
