Painted up... Just turfing and reassembly now. Obviously had to get a new hood latch since the old one is too short now.

The runs seem more of a build up of metallic bits. I can see them in the right light but I can't really feel them. The 5th picture shows one of the runs right in the middle.

I will fully admit that this isn't my best work ever but the quality fits the platform...lol. I'm sure it will need some reinforcing at some point. Hopefully not soon though.

dont sweat it, its not even the middle of summer, plus it will get bashed anyways over the summer, just get out and ride it. leave the good body work and and making everything look right in the winter. Seems like you can get everything up and painted quickly enough.

I think this is your finest hour ... You beat the weekend dead line . I think it's cool the way you have transformed this hull from a stunt hull to a Stunt Nut . It is truly one of a kind .

I vote against the Autozone/Pep Boys graphics too. I have a ton of graphics and stickers you can pick through if you want.

I cannot believe you actually made it yet I am the one who predicted you would! That is awesome.

I've been trying to come up with a name. It has a huge opening up top now so I was thinking it's kinda like a bucket. The "Stunt Bucket".

Maybe the "Grunt Hull" since it has taken so much effort to get here. Had it's first ride today. I absolutely love how easy it is to refuel and recharge the battery now. Next on the list of things to get is a bigger gas tank.

I may have accidentally found a way to two tone turf. I originally had every intention of returfing the bondline. I didn't even mask the turf because I knew I would be taking it off. Well I kept putting it off and this morning I still didn't feel like it but the turf looked like crap from the paint. So I just sanded the top. Looks pretty good and matches the hull color perfectly...lol.

If anything, it's lighter. Everything I took out was insanely thick and heavy. I just went and weighed the all parts I cut out and it came in at 13lbs without counting the padding and turf. The half of the tray that I took out was 3lbs, the front of the hood and hull was 8lbs, and the footholds were 2lbs. Sure some of that went right back on but no where near 13 lbs worth. Might also have something to do with the massive amount of water I was taking on through the split tray. My 800gph pump would shoot water every 4-5 seconds if I laying in the tray not moving.
