Maybe l was a little harsh on you man.But graphics is what l do for a living.Go to McDogs and pick some out!

And you are a glassin machine! lnteresting on being able to get up on plan quicker.

It's fine. After riding today, I'm a little tempted just to leave it bare. The paint really glows right now.

Well first thing is first. I need to fix my footholds. They are way too tight and are killing my big toe. Feels like I'd lose my toenail if I kick in enough. Once that's done I'd like to put a bigger gas tank in there.

I would guess low 50's. You are a freak.

I HAVE a freak, thank you.

Sorry for the late response here, but I got bored and decided to read your build thread.
I was tempted to quote some very early Waternut comments and some laughing smilies, but I decided against it.
So this is the next best thing.

FWIW, Waternut: You should pop a mold of this thing and start selling kits. You're way past 15% modification of the original "design" if you want to call it that.

Is 15% the threshold for copying something without repercussions? The thought has crossed my mind a couple times but my biggest deterrent is I enjoy improving my own stuff and I have tons of other stuff besides jetski's that need the Waternut touch lol. Plus the stunt hull is still the laughing stock of the stand up jetski community so I seriously doubt anyone would accept a design based on one.

Got a mod I've been thinking about finishing for over year done today. It's tested and works well so far. My new gas tank holds 4.5 gallons if I completely fill it but I doubt I'll ever put more than 4 in it. It takes up the same footprint that my cart tank did and holds more than double the fuel. Slides in and out in about 2 seconds. It may need reinforcing and the paint job is pretty piss poor even by a 5 y/o standards but my ski is far from being a show ski.

Epoxy resin is very resistant to fuel. However, it takes quite a few layers of even tight weave fiberglass before you actually get a water tight container. So I used fuel tank sealant on the inside instead of adding 4-5 more layers of glass to the tank. Of course the problem with that is you can't see the fuel level anymore so I have to address that at some point. That stuff will make your eyes water though if you get too big of a wiff when rolling it around in the tank.
