"1200 weighed in at 88 lbs with crabs, ex manifold, and ignition That's freakin Light!!!!! ;)"

awesome... my xs1000 might going up for sale sooner than i had thought.

i noticed they are not using the capless powervalve assemblies - look to be more like the EME / Polaris style.

I was told 87lbs the way it was on the stand at daytona, they told me thats not including the bed plates

that can not be an accurate weight if the inside of the engine was empty (no pistons , crank?)

I think the motor was there just to have something to show for the moment

Please tell me xmetal's logo is supposed to be a raped ape. If so, it wins.

How does this mount in hull? Exhaust angle indicates upright. Adapter kit? I always had clearance issues with the bottom bolt on flywheel cover hitting bottom of sj hull. I would love to know more about the xscream crank. Nice work, bolting on existing exhaust systems is huge

I think that lower flywheel bolt is going to be my problem also. My xs1000 only clears the front lower bolt by 1/4 in. My buddy Blake installed that WDK1200 had to cut that lower bolt off to install.

this will be one angry motor syked to see some videos however just a thought ... if the x scream 1200 uses a stroker crank with a 94mm top end and the waterdawgs 1200 uses a stock stroke crank with 99mm pistons would it be possible to combine the two i.e the xmetal stroker crank with the wdk 99mm top end and produce a crazy 1300cc monster ????i think someone with the equiptment should consider looking into it.

That would be going backward, power wise.
