The XS1200 Project from XScream

Falicon makes the crank for xscream 1200,you cant get one with out going through xscream, no big deal i can do that. Crankworks can lighten a stock crank 1.5lbs, and thats all they do, no billet. just called both places

His wdk 1200 with a stock 66 e crank
whats the issue ? or is he's looking to add the longer stoke and lighten the crank.. and make like a screaming 1350 monster. One off motors turn out awesome but are never as easy as they sound..there are so many issues with porting/ rods length/ carb ..ect.. I'm sure Pat would sell you a crank but there is a lot more to go than stick in a crank.. what rpm did that wdk 1200 turn thats a big bore. he has it in a freak... nice ski...

i like the way you think chasindaylight, but ramjet is right, i just want a lighter crank, ive got some cats in my bag, we'll see.....

why the lighter crank?? (other then because it lighter).. do you want more rpm? better balance?? The wd1200 uses a huge piston if i'm correct? whats the weight of those pistons. a big engine is a whole new ball game but boy do they work..

Faster spool up, the orm 66e crank is too heavy. Lukes motor hits very hard he's Been running for four seasons now and has all the bugs worked out of it. However it's time for a rebuild, hopefully he can figure out how to get pistons......... Hung out to dry by wdk.

Im not saying these are the pistons but its a place to start. I doubt if wdk got the pistons made but just sourced them from another engine
