The XS1200 Project from XScream

Evinrude 200
E-Tec
Big bore 90

3.854”/Std.
3.874”/.020
3.884”/.030
3.894”/.04
Im not saying these are the pistons but its a place to start. I doubt if wdk got the pistons made but just sourced them from another engine

I know x-scream uses chuckies own piston design not evinrude. guess both could work but a piston being the same bore size is lightyears away from how they work. I know chuckies r+d has
a lot of time and testing involved. If the wd1200 is 98mm and x-screams are 90. both on 16mm stroke the the rods must be way differant what is all the port timing differances. this is where a one off motor sucks unless you have the time and $ to put into it... Just think it took at least a year for x-scream to work things out. I saw where malones team said it took a long time to work out things too.. If you are thinking of making a monster motor i say go for it and good luck

yes we are getting 98.5 and 99mm pistons made to have on the shelf, i probably going to start a thread so if any others that have the wdk1200 and want the over bore pistons can get them, and no risk of going through jeff

Falicon makes the crank for xscream 1200,you cant get one with out going through xscream, no big deal i can do that. Crankworks can lighten a stock crank 1.5lbs, and thats all they do, no billet. just called both places

Hallo Skywalker,

You know scream sell these 84mm 66e cranks without engine???
How much is it and they have it on stock???

Friend have 66e in SJ and we have to rebuild it in winter.Bore and sleeve the cylinder,so a ligth strockercrank is a good option .

Thanks,Andy

Faster spool up, the orm 66e crank is too heavy. Lukes motor hits very hard he's Been running for four seasons now and has all the bugs worked out of it. However it's time for a rebuild, hopefully he can figure out how to get pistons......... Hung out to dry by wdk.

wiseco will make custom pistons for you. You can pull the old pistons and get the specs off of it and have a custom piston made. I too would like a lighten stock crank for a 66e.

Falicon Has been building our cranks for the last few years. Im grateful for their assistance and (2-stroke) knowledge, in helping us build the 1200.
1st rate co. & they're only 2 miles from our shop :)

Havasu was eventful as always, The skis ripped, and only got better as the week went on, right up till Ants injury, we were thinking a championship was a distinct possibility. I watched Ant do things that would have set the bar pretty high....wish I could elaborate :)

I feel honored to even have witnessed it. I dont just build his ski, I'm a fan lol

Jason had what may be his most solid run at Havasu, and was continuing to improve by leaps and bounds even after the comp. I think with a whole year training on the 1.2 he's going to be a bigger factor.

For us havasu was the place to see how we stacked up, and I'd say we were hanging with the big dogs. Not bad for a complete new package and a years work :)

Oh and congrats to DK Jr. & the SkiClinic World Champions!!! That was awesome to watch, great team, and family. the sports lucky to have them.

go with waterdawg brah, hahahahahhaaa

ahaha we have a comedian in the building folks :haha:

3 or 4 years ago when i drank the Waterdawg Kool-Aid, he had quoted $12,000 for motor, carbs/intake, pump, exhaust and ignition.

sent him $6000 to get started, then rest on delivery.

after half a year of not being able to produce, i had the joy of dealing with the credit card company to get my funds back.

SCREW Waterdawg.

X Scream Inc. has been the best company I have dealt with period in this industry.

I REALLY want to ride the XS1200 and see how it compares to the XS1000, and see if it is worth spending the extra cheddar to upgrade.
