The XS1200 Project from XScream

How does this mount in hull? Exhaust angle indicates upright. Adapter kit? I always had clearance issues with the bottom bolt on flywheel cover hitting bottom of sj hull. I would love to know more about the xscream crank. Nice work, bolting on existing exhaust systems is huge

i took that bottom bolt right off your old motor, and had to change some case bolts, only have about 3mm of clearance in one spot

this will be one angry motor syked to see some videos however just a thought ... if the x scream 1200 uses a stroker crank with a 94mm top end and the waterdawgs 1200 uses a stock stroke crank with 99mm pistons would it be possible to combine the two i.e the xmetal stroker crank with the wdk 99mm top end and produce a crazy 1300cc monster ????i think someone with the equiptment should consider looking into it.

i plan on installing a billet crank in my 1200, it will loose 4.5lbs off the crank. that will help it to rev more like the xscream motor for sure. would be interesting to compare the 2

bump for an update

Thats some nice film.... How old is that like months ago??? I hear there is some kind of cat that might come out of some bag...hell what do i know... Acording to a employee of x-scream there is some type of sugar in wrigley's spearmint gum that is powering this new motor.. or was it holding it together...??? Dam did i say that??

This might sound crazy but Pat and jason will understand it>>> HEHEE....

come on bogart put up some film with sound.. If it runs...

I first have to apologize for being naive in thinking when we built it, it would magically be perfect. I guess were not as good as I thought lol , it actually takes work.

And thats what weve done, and continue to do, since havasu of last year. Im not sure how long its suppose to take, but after only a year of effort, I am amazed at what weve accomplished, but not remotely satisfied (I like power/performance;) Weve continued to develope our existing packages, our hull (which has gotten really really good) were working on cosmetics there, its looking pretty aggresive. there down to 50 lbs. Big Props to Stoyer, and Jack Black, these guys are building stuff that I would now be proud to show Maros.

We have some new parts that are definitely gonna cause a stir, but you cant see them till october :)

you know your doing something right when, the competition starts adopting your designs. I find that flattering.

Sometimes its good to shut up, and Work :)

Peace

Hell, 1 year ain't bad! It took me 3 years of dickin with my Lamey to get it where I wanted it and it was supposed to be a proven package from day 1! (granted you guys know a little more about this stuff than I do). LOL

well it sucks for them either way. i just hope i'm right. since i heard about using the 61x style manifold so they don't have to make a new one i didn't think the transfers would work as they should.

I would guess the XScream Cranks are built to their specs either by XScream themselves or by Crankworks or someone like them. But may be proprietary, Kinda like the TLR Flat Top domes that ADA use to make that they only sold to TLR.
