Of course anything that can go wrong does...my mom asked if I wanted company for the trip and said she'll look after my dog while I do the jetski thing so she drove down to my place today and as soon as she got here she got in a vehicle accident, airbags and all. Broke her wrist so she's getting it set and cast. She's a trooper tho, she still insists she's coming. So as soon as she gets out of the hospital we're hitting the road. Should be there tomorrow night.

You guys have no idea how hard this dude is trying to make it down there. He wants a good first release and impression of these hulls and hes doing everything he can to make it happen. I wish you the best of luck buddy. I'm sorry I couldn't be there this year to help. I want you to get lots of pictures of people on this ski. I think people might be surprised and what a Canadian can build.

Bad news update....they couldn't get the bones set in my mom's wrist, I had to drive her 2 hours North back to the big city to get surgery, awaiting on her status now. Hopefully leave early tomorrow morning and make it there tomorrow night late.

Sorry to hear about your mom. That's awesome that she still insists on going. My mom broke her arm earlier this year and had to have surgery. First thing she asked when she got out, How long before I can ride my jet skis? Drive safe and wishing you some better luck for the rest of the week.

Finally hit the water with it this morning for the first time. It's crazy how much different a hull rides with a big pump tunnel, aggressive scoop grate and 155 pump. I also moved the footholds a little ahead of where I placed them in the first hull. I don't know yet if that was a good idea or not, it feels like this ski rides soooo much different than my first, it's like riding a new ski. And to top it all off the E-tech motor is very, very strong. I didn't get to ride it too long, one of the cooling lines got plugged off from sand or whatever crap was floating in the water. Gonna fix that and hopefully do some more testing tonight.
