I remember telling you you're probably not going to like it before you even got on it. Maybe I should have used reverse psychology and told you that you would love it, lol. Maybe @hornedogg79 will chime in and say what he thought about it.

This hull was quite impressive to me. Great work Hink! What an amazing opportunity to learn from someone like Kawastyler. I love the bulkhead/mounts setup... such a great idea, so clean. I definitely got a chub looking at all the beautiful raw carbon fiber. Nothing to hide, no need to.
It feels smaller than my chan and rides lighter. It doesn't have that 'hooked to the water' feeling which may be a good thing for some and bad for others. Depends on what you are looking for. A flatwater freestyle hull needs to be loose. I'm sure with some time and foothold/controls adjustments I could be very happy with this setup. I think it's a legit flatwater freestyle hull, training wheels not included. By "training wheels" I mean the wide 45* rails in the rear like Superfreaks, CHans, etc... They provide lift and stability which make these tiny/lightweight hulls more manageable. After some time, just like a bicycle, you'll find yourself needing the training wheels less and less until one day you realize they're holding you back and you want them gone. I probably help put that thought in BK's head about the rear bond line overhang. My chan had some quirky handling characteristics until I trimmed it off. It appears from the above posts kawastyler addressed that issue. Thanks for the test ride Chad..... and all the effort you put forth to finish this ski and get it to world finals.

I did not get a chance to come and ride it, but from what I saw it looked pretty awesome. That full visual carbon job was sick! To build that that quick and get it to world finals for everyone to see was quite the accomplishment. It was nice meeting you and keep up the good work. I'm sure you will sell quality hulls.

I love the way the carbon looks when the sun hits it right...

With the combination of this motor, the enlarged intake and the 155 pump I'm going bigger than ever. I've been working on trying to get more height instead of distance, but I'm still traveling further than I am high.

Looks great (that better?), time to start combos. When are these going to be available for the buying public and has any pricing structure been set? Options or differences between hull setups been worked up?

Thanks. They are available to the buying public, I'm working on a pricing structure and getting a web site together. This week I'll be starting on the first customers hull and he has asked for some pretty trick custom carbon, so there will definitely be some customization available too.

sexy sexy

keep in mind.... the one hull ive seen done in a simular carbon fiber turns almost a purplish color at distance as the red and black start blending together.

Haha, we'll see. It will be my first time ever in the surf, I'm a little nervous, I've heard it's much harder than it looks.

it is harder than it looks. You just have to learn when the waves are gonna break so you are in the right place at the right time. I look forward to seeing these out there! Probably spot that visual carbon from a mile away....

Rode great, it was my first time ever in the surf and it definitely took some getting used to. I got my butt kicked the first couple times out and didn't last long. Third time out I did much better and even pulled off a surf flip. I think it would have been a lot more controllable with a smaller motor, the ET1100 was a lot of motor for the surf.
