Not here to get bashed. He's been straight up with everyone he's sold hulls to lately. And there's always two sides to every story.
If you really want to believe that. Yes, lately he has been getting hulls out. But there are people here who he has screwed them out of thousands of dollars. Maybe you won't be one of those guys. Sorry, would not give him ten bucks of my money.

I have a hard time reading those with the jacked up grammer. My daughter loves them.

Some of these kids books are terrible. Either the story doesn't rhyme in some places or the story stops making since like they skipped a page etc..

Anyone try the new book by swedish physicists that guarantees it will put your kid to sleep?

The jacked up grammar in the Junie b Jones stories is done on purpose because they the are written in the narrative of a kindergartner/first grader. (From Junie b Jones's perspective) that's half the reason I love them so much.

Our middle plays field hockey at a school that relies on the district to mow the field, which means it gets done every 2-3 weeks. Field hockey needs the field cut every 3-4 days really, so myself and a couple other dads were planning on doing it with our pushmowers (we live in the Highlands in Louisville, small yards) which would be 3-4 hours every time.

So, I started looking for a cheap riding mower to save myself and the other guys HOURS and DAYS of our lives over the next 3 years of middle school. I figured $200-300 would get something that would work.

I ended up calling a guy about a New Holland 38" (it's a rebadged Toro Wheelhorse) that wouldn't start for $75. He gave it to me for $50 since he went to the same middle school and practiced football on that field.

I got it home and had it running in 20 minutes. Add a battery for $30 and I have a running mower that's not a rust bucket for $80. Everything works too! I had to adjust the shifter linkage to get 6th gear and will replace the spindle bearings, but other than that it's good to go for a long time I think.

I've already cut the field twice, once to get it good enough to practice on and again 2 days later to get it down to 'field hockey height' for the first game. In 5th gear it takes about 75 minutes.

This is what it looks like, not mine though

Yep!!! Looks exactly like a rebadged wheel horse. Great tractors. If you need any parts I'll hook you up ;) we stock a lot of wheelhorse stuff.

I hope I don't need anything for it in the 3 years I plan on owning it. Heck, spindle bearings are a standard 6204-2RS that I can pick up at any bearing supply shop. I pulled the spindles and popped the bearings off last night.

Long as it wasn't ever run low on oil it should be good. Spindle bearings are an easy fix but some people never do and wind up destroying belts and everything aha
