well its painted now just gotta make shure the firewall is all sealed up.Im gonna try to relocate teh battery in the side of the tray behind the firewall where you cut the panels out to dig the foam out.im gonna build a box in their to keep the foam sealed and then a cover will be have dzus fasteners or quick fastners to hold it on and turf on the outside and will never know its their. Also since i decided to do the 800 conversion i gotta do a rear exhaust now i gotta run a tube.any suggestions on what size
got a few more things done this week.got our pole done just gotta do a few more things to make it ready to bolt on.gotta drill for the turn plate and drill for the cables to run thrue.Im very happy with it is light like i was shooting for and very strong and sturdy.the bars look high in the pic but their the same height and angle as when i put an x-metal pole on.
Also got the rear exhaust tube fitted and in.that was a pain because with the hull being shortened and the footholds moved foreward to get the tube to come out where it would in a stock hull it hit the front of the toe on the footholds but i dug out all the foam and got it up thrue it turned out real nice.
I got the hull all sealed up chris spread the milled fibers and epoxy for me while i worked on the poles thanks chris.
i gotta mount a plate in the nose for the lord mounts to screw into for the pipe and then its time to start putting it togather.[/QUOTE
Doing what I can to help. The handpoles do look really good. I'm thinking of selling my -4x-metal pole now that we have Bill's pole done. That's how nice it looks. . The ski in the picture, with the pole, is the other ski Bill built; mine. Thanks Bll
