TPE MOTOR SETUP's - list your package

As usual I really want to go bad!!! OMG now more than ever to ride some hulls and feel some motor/pump/prop combos!
 
I've got an 1105 it arrived yesterday so just assembling ready to drop in tomorrow and will post up more when I get some tuning time on it. But for now here's what's going on around the motor.

Sea level, pump gas and race gas domes. I will start with pump gas 99 octane

Hull - Obsession Fiberglass

TPE 1105
Stroke – 10mm lightweight crank

Compression – I'll post up after break in but expecting 185psi pump and 225psi race

CARB(S) – ATP 48s on boyesen mani
Main Jet -135
Pilot Jet - 125
Popoff – 25 psi
PIPE – Powerfactor
ELECTRICS – ATP Flame TS2 with ultra lightweight flywheel
PUMP – 148 Maxx
PROP – 15/22 skat spaced tight to stator
NOZZLE – 62t Reduction nozzle not bored / 65v Steering nozzle

Jon, the motor is setup, pressure checked, and ready for break in. Carbs will be setup and ready for you as well. Hold tight!!
 
Anyone have a carb setup recomendation for my setup?

Will I be the first with blackjack 48's? Recommendations with a 1105 lightweight crank atp flame total loss?

I couldn't tell you on that. I asked around before I got my 48 FS's and the consensus at the time was FS seemed to be the overall favorite. That was last summer, so tough to say now lol!! BUMP!!

I'm in love with my 964 and my overall set up. Philip Clemons for President!! P&P Performance is friggin amazing.

To be honest, I didn't think this motor was going to hit as hard as it does. Very pleasantly surprised with it! I need to get used to the Brraapp!
 
Is there a big difference between Blackjacks and novi/full spec/dasa carbs?

I have had the privilege of being at full spectrum and seeing both Ed's operation as well as seeing the boyesen factory/ foundry. After spending 5 or so hours with Ed that day for a carb rebuild, I can honestly say I will be a customer for life. Oh and the carbs work..

Something I saw that I would not recommend doing- put a shop vac over the base of the carb, shoot carb cleaner in the main jet to see the booster atomize. Big explosion hazard. BUT it did demonstrate something before my eyes I would not have believed unless I saw it. It made a tornado shaped cone of atomized fuel above the air horn of the carb body.
