Trinity Composites EVO Pro Build

I understand. For me its just a mental block, standing in the holds at the back looking at 8' of boat in front of me thinking to myself "how the hell am I suppose to throw this thing?".

Either way, if Bobby decides to pump one out I'll be in line. -2" would be even better. I'd like to see how light he could actually make it.

Not doubting the EVO and its benefits in anyway, I just like the SJ size and want to stick to that platform.

My ideal ski is 62T @ 750cc that weighs 250lbs wet, and RIPS like raped mule! Lightweight and twitchy. The smaller the hull the better.

Just my wants. Not right, or the best ski out there, just the best ski for me.

Here are some hood pics. One of these babies belongs to Sean Harmon's EVO Pro. Each hood has a manufacture sticker with the date completed along with their weight under a light layer of glass cloth.

Man I hope one of those hoods is heading to NC soon. They sure do look good.

You can put a lot of engines in the evo. Kawi 750,800 and 1100. Yamaha 62t and 66e. Polaris 800/1000. Sea doo 785 and 951. It requires the use of a kawi based pump, drive shaft, and bearing. With a 62t you would have a ton of room and be very light.

I have an 1100 I have been saving for just this type of build... I need to weigh it and my 800 SXR engine, electrics, and pipes. Just to see what the weight difference. The light weight hull would more than make up for the heavier engine. Then again I still like the sound of an 800 PV engine... You still need to make an old style X2 top deck to match the bottom deck!!!

Me, who is a smaller body and can't throw around a big hull regardless of weight. Plus I have all the parts to bolt right into a "Trinity SJ hull", so if he'd make one I'd seriously consider it.

I've also never been a Kawi fan, not that it matters because this is far from a Kawi!

Trinity - If you do choose to make an SJ hood, drop me a PM. I might start saving my pennies and jump on the early batch bandwagon.

Really nice products here! :woot:
I'm doing the hood for Burlew. He wants to ride bad and start doing up some shows with Josh. Thats Josh's ride buddy so they both need to ride the same name or that would look weird. Right? Let me work on the hood deal (tooling). If a lot sell and mucho guys call saying I need the lightest, strongest SJ hulls. Then it will happen. I want to build the best hulls and some other ideas. There all just different shapes of brappers and a variety of hulls could be a option. Its just a matter of time.

Do what you do, by no means am I suggesting a way to take your product line. Your quality in the pics speaks for itself. By the time you make the decision on whether you will build an SJ, I`ll probably have the cash.

Can`t wait to see this ski complete and some footage of it. Last ski looked great!

Those hoods are something else too. I like the timestamps on them too. Great idea.

damn you're good. Some sick work right there.:Banane36:

I would say you're confident, not cocky. Nothing wrong with either. With that caliber of work you have every right to be anything you want. It was amazing to watch pierre flip your boat at daytona. He could have done a double backy if the waves were right.

Just spoke with Bobby and ordered a hood. Thanks for the info and a great product. I can't wait to get it and put it on and see what happens. I will guarantee ya that I will land multiple BR's really badly with this hood on, in the surf, and beat the snot outta it!!! :veryhappy: I'm still deciding on the nose pc.

Thanks Brian for the purchase. It was great talking with you. Thanks big K for the compliments. Just sold another evo after I talked to performance one if I can get the ski built and to the shipping container on time. Thanks again to all who have helped me. :Banane01:

I would have bought the whole ski, but 8K is a bit too large for my wallet at this point. I already have way, way too much into this thing already. I could have two SJ's. LOL

Thanks guys for the sales. I can't wait to hear from him. I got a pm and he said he was going to call me after he spent some time riding. Glad ever one is happy. They don't just look good, Josh has been beating the piss out of a 7 pounder for six months now. And it still looks great. :Banane01::Banane01::Banane01:

I saw your flirting with making a SJ hood. Are you making it stock or lowered? I would be interested in a lowered one and if my Apple stock goes back up, I would be interested in getting a SJ hull if you make one.

It will be lowered. I'm going to work with Lloyd Burlew on the layout and feel so it should be crazy. Theres some things to finish first but the sj hood will happen. Too many guys are asking for one not to.:bigok:
