Spent most of my morning on the phone with Bobby, All I can say is I love this ski, Bobby sure knows his stuff and I can't wait to ride it.
Done deal, Put my name on number 8 today. Should show up around middle of February.Thats cool, he likes explaining stuff to his clients. I learned so much over the last year from him, your right he really knows his craft.
I hope you are able to get a hull.
Sorry for the Jack CJ. The Matrix uses all Yamaha running gear. There you go Mat! lol
Killer! now come oooooooooooon seadoo sale lol
awesome boyer, cant wait to check it out! which version are you having built??
The Seadoo is being parted out as we speak. Got 4 months to figure out how to do TS... and Matrix. :bananajump:
I settled on the ES Model with Gloss Black Gel coat...not 100% on the gel over primer and paint but there's time yet to change that detail. I have never busted up a stock hull yet so I have no reason to believe that I will bust up an even stronger one. I'm open to opinions. :dunno:
Congrats. It'll be here before you know it.
Well here's a thought as I scramble to part out my 165HP 993cc seadoo engine, why don't I build up the Matrix with that powerplant? If it can launch my 650lb GSXL hull up to 60MPH in under 5 seconds and reach a top speed of 69MPH, what will it do in a Matrix? Too much top, not enough bottom? Not reliable enough? If guys fit them in superjets, I'm sure it will fit in the Matrix.
Having rebuilt that motor 5 times just to get 125hr on the ski, you don't need to remind me of that fact. I think it's more of a racing engine than a freeride one so let's get back on track for the TS865 why don't we?:naughty:it will be heavy, side draft carbs and will rip hard no doubt........I'd say if it requires no hull modification and you can make the driveline work then it might be a fun project..
if it blows up then thats money wasted towards an 827 SS kit
hopefully that hull stays dry as a bone..because that motor will not tolerate water intrusion like a yamaha will
