From what I've seen in Pro Rider, Bobby has been pretty busy building hulls for Kommander for racing. They did an article on an 1100 Kawasaki race ski with a Trinity hull.

He makes very nice hulls, but I definitely wouldnt buy new from him! He burnt my buddy pretty bad and stole thousands of dollars from him. The only reason he got his matrix is because I couple guys from this forum drove to Bobby's shop and grabbed the hull and parts and put his ski together.

Buyer beware

There is two sides to every story, and I know no one here wants to hear either. I have three friends besides me that bought Martix's (Boyer, Bill Adkins and Mark Gomez). You can ask any of us, Bobby was straight forward, honest and business like. The only problem I had and I expect it from any custom builder, he was a couple of weeks late on delivery. Even then, he told me it was going to be late. If I was in the market for one of his hulls, I would feel very comfortable ordering from him again.

He is RIDICULOUSLY meticulous......I didn't even understand half of what he was talking about with weaves and layups and composites...the man knows his stuff. My hull is SO stiff, no flex at all.

Is there any hull builder that delivers on the first date he tells ya?

3 BOB order in 1 year and the only one who was not deliver at the date big D told me its because I add 2 more hull at my order, so he delay me 2 weeks. All other was ship at the exact date he told me when I ordered.

My overall was one week late from what they told me . I believe in am hull terms that counts as ahead of schedule !!

I almost bought a matrix after riding scotts and boyers . Awesome skis and very high quality workmanship bobby really knows his stuff . But overall offered me a to good to turn down deal . What with being only up the road ( relatively speaking ) from them .

gotta love keyboards, anyway trinitys are sick skis built to the highest quality using the best materials from what ive seen cant comment on feedback never dealt with bobby all i know is the internet can make or break you whether your in the wrong or right. the matrix looks insane but please ride a trinity before you buy one (assuming its a matrix you are interested in)

Maybe he shouldn't offer RTR,s , but his build quality is unmatched, fit and finish is so clean you wouldn't think of painting inside of his hulls. He is a busy guy so get in line!

I haven't said any thing bad about the hull, I love the handling and convinced a really good friend to buy the hull off chris. There will be a matrix at my cabin most of the summer. The only thing I'm talking about is Bobby

Being a couple weeks late isn't a big
Deal. Lying, stealing and not completing a ski after being almost a year late is

Funny, I heard over and over that things kept getting changed by the Buyer. Parts that were to be supplied by the buyer were late, or the decisions the buyer was suppose to make on what parts to use kept getting delayed, etc etc etc............... There are two sides to this............. I have never known Bobby to be on time or anywhere near on time with a build..... But I have also never known him to outwardly screw anybody over either...... But let it go.... The deal was not between you and Bobby.... You have no dog in this hunt.....
