waterdawg hood or water craft factory hood ?

Looking at getting a new look for the round nose and love the look of the watercraft factory hoods. but saw the wd hoods and quality looks top notch as well. looking for some peoples feedbacks .just dont know enough about them to decide. help me make my decision.

Personally I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Not sure what Steve charges for his setup, but Jeff just ran a limited time promo for hood and nosepiece for $399.

Jeff said he was thinking about making $399 the permanent price for his hood and nosepiece.

If you are looking at it from a freestyle standpoint, meaning you plan to be doing flat water tricks, hood riding, spins, bulldogs etc etc....... I would go with the WCF, designed more for that kind of riding, the WD does not look like much though has been put into the handhold locations, shapes of handholds and ergonomics........... I have not tried the WD, but just my opinion based on looks..................

Experience
Wammer 8 hold hood, great function - Sold it
Blowsion JK Hood, indistructible, but hated it for flat water - Sold it
Wammer 2 Hold hood, light, works great - sold it with hull
Wammer 2nd generation hood - on current hull, have not ridden.
Old 24/7 SR71 Hoods - Second to none...........

Not sure about hood tricks and stuff, but WaterDawgs seems to be pretty nice for the price. I also like my Wammer 8 hole hood as far as keeping water out goes.
Cant beat the PRICE on that WaterDawg hood though.

I achually like the Waterdawg Diablo hook kit over anything on the market, past or present. I think it is the cleanest hood out there. Gives the ski a clean, sleek shape. Very simple but very effective and great quality.

I forget who's boat this is but in all gel whiet it looks clean

not that my opnion matters for jack, but I have the Watercraft Factroy hood and nose peice. Paid a bit for it, its not cheap, but I would rather pay that kinda of money and have something that has been praised by so many people, than deal with a cheaper hood and have to deal with shipping and contact issues. Steve was great to work with, and I fully trust his setup, I have see my hood take some serious beatings, and not pop off or come unlatched. (no hood straps, just x-metal fittings and a great fitting hood).

My opinion doesn't matter either but I would get some hood straps with either hood.

yes on both points

hoodstraps save hoods....and hindsight is 20/10

i also LOVED the fact that everything was pre-drilled......I didnt ask Jeff about that before I purchased, it was just a nice surprise...

my WD hood honestly does fit BETTER THAN STOCK........with my stocker you always had to wiggle and jiggle, but not anymore
