i started out on a kawasaki 750 STS when i was 10, i rode my uncle 98 sxi pro one day, said i would never ride a stand up again. 1 year later, we bought a 94 750 sx. i rode that thing all year stock. then this year in january we put my uncles old sxi engine in it. that thing rips now. i will never look back at a couch again.:Banane01:

Here is a pic of my first ride ever(thanks for taking pics dad!). Pic is dated 1986, so that would make me 9 in the pic. I didn't even need it running to stand on it. It was a house boat trip to Don Pedro Cal. and someone brought the jet ski so I don't know what year the ski was, but prob 84-85. A few years later my parrents bought a 1990 440, which is what I consider my first ski. <---Beginning of the end!

I guess the first ski I ever rode was an old modded out 440 Kawi. First ski I bought was a 93 Waveblaster. (surprise, surprise!)

Been hooked forever, will probably be riding forever.

I rode an old 550 for about 2 minutes in 89, then about 96 a buddy made me ride his stock 93 750SX, the next weekend I drove 220 miles and picked up a 94 750SX highly modded, blew that to pieces within 2 years and rebuilt it then rode my first SJ, a 92 650 and was hooked on that, sold the SX and bought a 94 701 Sj, hooked from then on!

My friend and i were hooked, then i bought a vxr and my buddy bought a waverunner III

Then we needed more speed so i went to buy a new ski and my wife loved the fx140 so we got that.

I got bored of that real fast and Paul hooked me up with a sweet 650 sx.

Then I got a 90 superjet and hooked it up :biggthumpup:

5 years ago i did a job for an old racer guy and he asked me if i knew anyone that would like to buy a jetski. i asked him what kind. he said " its an old 1989 js550".It was a limited mod/practice ski that ran on pump gas. On the way home we stoped by and looked at it and then gave him a deposit and told him i would come get it in the spring when the snow melted. That spring he called me to come pick it up. Sporting no lifejacket and missing a shoe in very cold water i had my first jetski session. i didn't last long but it sparked an addiction. still have the ski in the shack today and it belongs to my buddy now. He never rides it so we put penis stickers on it and write all over it. i think it says "I am Gay" on the bottom and he doesn't even know. :biggrin: gotta love the old school skis

A destroyed 550. It was toast, but had a head, pipe, waterbox, impellor, flywheel, impellor, intake, ride plate, flame arrestor, oversized carb. It sounded like a chainsaw!!!! The side exhaust tube was missing! I wish I would've kept it!
:bs2:I rebuilt it, painted it and ripped it.

An 82' 550 i got in may of this year and i rode almost everyday all summer unless it was raining. All my money from work went into gas money. :biggthumpup:

76 440js i had to ride with the bilge pump on or it would fill up with water and sink in about 15 min.

my frist time on a jet ski was a 91 sx650 and a 91 550 that my mate brught brand new back then . my frist ski was a 90 x2 that i still have down the yard that is about to get a big make over next mounth pic will . chances are it will be in the build up section soon
