I have to many damn trucks and projects now as it is, but this one is special.

This one has been sitting for a couple years now. Until then was used Dailey. Paint is rough it was gold with white top but still only has like 68k miles. And power everything offered in 83

My grandmother never owned a car always a truck and drove till 89 she just turned 90 last month. Parkinson is the only reason she still isn't driving

Here's my barn find. 84 Chevy Shortbed 2wd. Factory paint, 31K miles. I blew up the 305 so I dropped in a balanced and blueprinted 383 stroker.
I was so excited to buy it and had huge plans for it but I ended up selling it after less than a year so I could build a house on a lake.

Carpet lining, insulating and sound deadening a VW T5.
Absolute nightmare of a job and very time consuming but I'll have a nice warm jet ski van that I will have a bed in and also have room for my ski.
Cold weather is drawing in fast here so it would be nice for the winter riding sessions.

Dude, the steering wheel is on the wrong side!!

The carpet looks great, how hard is that to put on? Spray adhesive and a heat gun?

But it's on the RIGHT side mate .
It's 4 way stretch carpet so pretty workable. My first time I've done anything like this so I've been taking my time as going backwards would be a nightmare.

I had the opportunity to buy this truck this past summer. Fairly clean for a MI truck but at the moment I'm not ready to take on a project like that. That being said had it been a short box I would have bought it because it was a killer deal.
