Will do. Trusses are going to take a couple weeks to be delivered. I tend to over engineer everything so this will be no different. So far the poles are buried 3' with 2 bags of concrete. Not going anywhere.

Nice 96 XP. I bought one brand new back in the day and had a lot of fun. The DESS drove me insane though.

I've never seen one rot here in my area. Been installing pressure treated post in concrete for many years. The bottom 1' is in dirt. The top 2' is in concrete so moisture can't be retained in the wood. Drainage is also a non issue and the ground is mostly sand. I'm concerned with wind more than anything.

FYI, I only looked it up because I was curious as to the reason myself.
My parents were builders for 30+ years so I grew up around construction but after a couple of big moves I realized that most of what I believed to be standard construction, was actually location specific.
