There's something wrong with that picture!
I had a similar system in my lake cabin up north. The floor heat was very spotty. When I pulled the sheathing to inspect it, I found that had just looped the tubing in between the floor joists and then used a couple bent over nails every 6ft to pin it to the underside of the subfloor. It only made actual contact with the floor in about 10 spots over the entire 650 sq/ft.

Lol sorta did. Friend house and he laid the tracks. He effed up 200' of he-pex so I had to get my handicap ass in the crawl space to show him the way

They tried that with me too. I told them i already paid sales tax on everything and they were ok with that. I had a harder time today than i ever have because the lady i usually deal with happened to have the day off.
How much they charge a foot for the continuous concrete edging?
