Yes,some of our roads suck.I95 in SC in the outside lane is hell! Not a place you want a truck and trailer on for any distance.Only place l drive on the inside lane

I took power off one of our sites for the weekend to make some upgrades to our power distribution and got to pull a crispy kitty out of one of our big 480 Volt switchgear cabinets. 
The mill folk say it’s been in there for at least 5 years.

Finally closed on a lake house the other day. Took 30 years of hard work to get here but it was worth it. Sold our house in August and had 4 deals fall apart but never gave up.

Our high side is 12K.
I had them bore in a new 1/0 feeder for the primary and then had to install 5 new runs of 500MCM Cu between the transformer and PDC.
This is a warm up job on phase 1. We are designing a whole new distribution system for the entire site to support all our upgrades.

Normal electricians wrap a bundle of cables in electrical tape. Real electricians wrap a bundle with duct tape! Now that’s some heavy pulling work right there

The duct tape was just to wrap all the half hitches tight on the pull rope as they kept catching the transitions in the 90's and slipping.
It must be an American thing that conduit doesn't come with a flared bell end to make transitions smoother.?.?.?
All the suppliers had in stock were sweep 90's that you have to use couplers on both ends which increases the chance of having a lip to catch on.
Flared conduit makes for nice smooth pulls but it's a special order around here for some reason.

In my place they use a lot of LB’s and make hard 90’s instead of smooth bend or sweep 90’s.
We haven’t had to run anything larger than 4” though since I’ve been there. Contractors came in with two guys and ran that with ease. Everything else is in operation all the time and was built long before I was born. Will probably still be in place when I die.

Welded up a triple fuel jug rack and beach cart mount today.
Tomorrow I’m going to cut 12” off the tongue and finalize the balance so I can pin the sliding axle in place and call this project done.
Edit: added the pic of the trailer with 12” cut off the tongue and hooked up to the truck.
All that’s left is to bolt everything down and then remount the fenders.
Way more room in the garage now too.

Everytime my ski sits for more than a couple weeks, something seems to go wrong. This time it was my starter relay, I always prepare for the worst when opening up an ebox I haven't been in for a while. I was pleasantly surprised. I also filled an old RC lube bottle with Klotz for maintaining cables and pivot points. Every ride I give it a couple drops here and there.
