Long time listener, first time caller. I managed to find a fixed steer hood over the summer that I think is somewhat famous on this forum. I plan to leave it green!

Hell yeah! Nice hood.
I had the first one ever built, and found all the weak points. You have version 2.0 by Tom. He makes them much stronger than my original now!

Good to know! I'm not 1/10th the rider you are so I'm sure this hood will last me a while. First stand up was a X2, didn't really care for the vertical moving handpole when I got my first SJ. Stumbled across this green tank of a hood and now have the best of both worlds.

Took a day off from hanging drywall in the shop to rest up my shoulders and knock a bunch of smaller tasks off the list.

Helped the wife with yard cleanup for a few hours. She loads up the truck with leaves while I do dirt runs and fill in holes using her dump trailer.

Acid etched the excess grout off the new tile in our front entrance.

Finished off the day with hotdogs over the fire and by lighting off our first Swedish Torch. This one was made out of Southern Yellow Pine and burned down in around an hour. Gonna do a White Oak next and see how different the hardwoods burn.
